I see that you are on here right now with me. well tell me what you found when you pulled on the seat belt assembly? is your problem with the seat belt buckling to the locking metal piece or is it the fact that when you pull on the actual seat belt you notice that it is tight and wont budge at all?

2011 subaru forester front passenger seat belt is locked too tightly and will not release, how do I fix?

The reason is the belt mechanism is damaged and the belt needs to be replaced. What happens is the gears lock this usually only happens when the vehicle is in a collision or has a major and hard stop

Seat belt won't pull out

The seat belt may just be twisted inside where the gears are at the shoulder. I had a belt jam up on me that way. I tugged on it for days before it came loose.

My airbags deployed and now my seatbelts wont work. how do i fix them?

The seat belts have small airbag like devices in them in the retractor mechanism. These go off like airbags when you are in a crash to ensure you stay tightly in your seat. Think of it like what happens if you pull the seat belt too quickly and it stops movement. You will need to replace the whole seat belt unit if this is the case.

I installed a timing belt and car ran for a while then went out on me. Now it cranks and wants to start but it wont start.

I would first set it to Top Dead Center again to see if the cam gears are both pointing straight up (the little arrow marks. Sounds like it jumped a tooth from the belt being too loose. If so, inspect the tensioner to see if it is making the belt tight enough. Hope this helps! If it is in correct time and that didn't solve it, write back.

Hi we have a kia sedona 2000year and 2.9 diesel, exec. auto. it came with half the engine in the boot, we have skimed the head and rebuilt it just the new cam belt just wont tighten enough we have fully...

the cam belt should have a little slack in it,, about 1/2 inch over its longest run, its not like a fan belt witch should be tight, but check the idler bearing are not worn out,,and i do hope this is a new belt for this car,,,if your using the old belt,,,dont! fit a new one on it or it could brake on you, and that would be another engine rebuild on your hands,,,

The front seat belts wont work. 2001 Honda Accord

There is no reset as it were. The tensioner portion (main belt) will have to be replaced. These are non serviceable items.

1991 jeep 4wd fuse

Check transfer case wiring, possible loose wiring/open circuit. If your other lights in dashboard work such brake light, seat belt lights, engine light than it is not a fuse. raise all for tires from the ground and engage the four wheel drive remember to have in neutral and put in gear either 4L or 4H and see if the wheels in front move.

My 1996 nissan altima wont keep a charge ,I had the alt checked replaced the batt checked for ground (negative post) same thing batt light and loosing charge

Cables from alt to battery can be deposited/burned/oxidized. In this case battery wont get charged. Also check the alternator connections. Cable might be burned or not tight enough
Also serpentine belt might be not tight enough
Good Luck
