Reference you speedometer you will need to take to a tach/speed shop due to department of motor vehicles wood like to get verification. also on late model speedometers the dealer ships either sell you a new one or have your old one repaired.

I have a 1995 ford explorer 4x4 ive changed the spped sensor got a new cluster and speedometer still doesnt work its getting irritating please any ideas on what it could be???

Check the sensor in your ******. most likely the only thing left. be sure to check the harness at your cluster for voltage to eliminate wiring or fuse faults.

Speedometer just stop working

Generally there are two reasons that keep a speedometer from working. Either the Sensor in the transmission has failed of the speedometer head itself is no good. The spped sensor can be purchased at most Automotive stores and installed relatively easy. I always suggest trying this first because its the cheapest. You can also purchase one from the junk yard however I don't recommend this unless you are just wanting to save a few bucks and use it for a test part. If you replace the sensor and the speedometer still fails to work then chances are it the head and then you can either purchase another from the dealer or the junk yards. However make sure that you note the original miles and the change.

Speedometer not working in a 2003 town and contry minvan

this may because of the following reasons
1.the pick up sensor sensing the spped may be damages so please try replacing it.
2.the wire which is sending the signal to the speedo meter may be damaged so please check the wire and replace if nesessary.
3.the speedometer itself may be the problem so service the speedometer or replace with the new one.
4.the terminal to which the wire connecting the speedometer may be damaged so check it.

My 1999 Dodge Caravan will not shift out of 1st. gear.

YES the speed sensor is first to check, but dont just go buy one and put it in. does the odometer work? if so, its getting a signal. The insrument clusters are common to fail, ususally a cracked solder joint in the circuit board. it will need to be removed and resoldered. if the odometer does not work, then check and verify that the spped sensor is indeed not putting any signal to the dash.

Speedometer quick working suddenly and transmission will not shift out of first while in drive or manualy

speed sensor may be faulty and may prevent the transmission from upshifting. This will also prevent the speedometer from working. Hve the spped sensor's circuit checked, and the spped sensor itself. Replace if necessary. Hopefully this helps

CLock, radio, dome lights, speedometer, keyless entry dont work

Check fuse 8 (10 amp fuse) in the under dash fuse panel. Make sure you have voltage to it on both sides of the fuse. This fuse feeds all of the items you listed.
