Once you changed your battery your ecm brain computer lost all of its memory and may need to be reset. also the alarm has possibly a faulty sensor causing it to go into panic mode and you need to either reset the alarm or have it reprogrammed. car wont start because because of wiring problem.

I just had the same prblem. Reconnect your alarm first of all. You need to use your key bob "remote" to deactivate the alarm before starting. It is a feature "good one" i might add that should someone try to steal it the jeep will not start until u deactivate it w theke bob.

It sounds like you have an alarm system that is disabling the ignition. You need to reset the alarm system.

Car won't start after change battery

Your vehicle has 2 ignition wires that you can put back to factory, and start the vehicle.
The wires you are looking to put back together are PINK and DARK GREEN - and found under the D/S dash. (ignition harness - right side of steering column) They will be larger in Diameter than the others.
They were cut to install the security system. They go into the "brain" and out the other side. A relay inside the BRAIN is most likely failing.
If you no longer want the alarm installed, simply match up all of the factory colors. Use crimp-on but t-connectors for secure connection.
Let me know if you need more help.
