My 2002 honda passport speedometer and mile meter doesnt work. i replaced the speed sensor and the gauge cluster and it still doesnt work i dont know what else to do can some one please help.

Its possible the gear inside the transmission is broken.
You could probably check the sensor to see if it has any output.
I assume you checked to see if the cluster has power.

1994 Honda Accord automatic; Speedometer/Odometer intermittent

Sounds like the Vehicle Speed Sensor. It is strange that you're not getting a Check Engine Light or a Flashing light on your gauges where the gear selection indicator bulbs are. For the heck of it, check the plug and wires leading to the Speed Sensor. It is on the back of your transmission kind of near/above the firewall motor mount if you need to replace it. Good luck!

The speedometer on my 1998 rodeo works intermittently. when it doesn't work it just goes up to 20mph and bounces around a little every once in a while. Then all of a sudden it will bounce to 0 and then...

You need to replace the speedometer gear behind the sensor. And no it is not a magnetic pickup sensor as that on is for the computer. Google myisuzuparts.com and see fig.# 2-25 image 4 a/t thm; 6vd1 Item 1 GEAR; DRIVEN,SPD you may be able to buy one from a honda passport dealer.

Car speedo & odometer sometimes work OK, other times not at all.

Most likely a speed sensor is going bad (most cars and truck do not use mechanical speedometer cables anymore) most sensors are located near the differential in rwd cars or near the drive shaft on the transmission. Best bet is to get a Haynes manual for your car to help locate the speed sensor. Remove it and take it to the auto parts store so you can visually compare it to the replacement. Install the new speed sensor and it should restore your speedometer and odometer.

Speedometer doesn't work on a 1997 honda passport 6 cyl.

It probably uses a sensor instead of a cable to register speed. Realistically speaking the vehicle needs to go to a qualified repair shop with the proper diagnostic tool to determine what component is not functioning. Perhaps you can buy and install the part yourself. Most vehicles need to be diagnosed on an electronic tester.

Rear seat conversion on a 98 honda passport 4wd

Hey I have the same vehicle. You have to tug it really really hard to pull up the seats. It does feel like its locked, but it isn't. It is just really tight. Once you pull the seats up a few times it will loosen up.
