If it only cycles on and off then it is most likely low on freon. The pressure on both service ports need to be checked to be sure that this is the problem. the pressures should be 50 to 70 psi on the low side and about 225 to 275 psi on the high side.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak in the condensor and maybe a problem with the evaporator. also your switch may be on its last leg too. also the clutch on your compressor sounds like it is needs to be replaced too. check system for shorts too.

Ac blowing hot air tried to recharge but compressor would not take charge, gage needle went to yellow could over charge stop compressor 00linc ls v8

in this particular problem firstly you have to analyse the power ampere of ac because sometimes power not flows properly and due to this ac compressor cant work properly because they cant get their requirement power . secondly you can check gas in compressor because sometimes due to tiny wholes gas gets released and it causes in hot air blowing

AC blows cool not cold, checked freon seems to be

I dont know how you can check it for being full or not? but most likely its low. If you have it on, and high speed like 2000 rpm and the a/c clutch goes on/ off in a few seconds, the refrigerent is low.

Check the plug boots,to see if they are bad,or tune up is needed. Also can be a fuel pressure problem, change the fuel filter,if this does not help, have a fuel pressure test done,if there are any check engine lights on,have the codes read with a code reader, this will most likely tell on the problem.

Relay Problem.

You have your fuse out. Put it back in. Then to keep from using the A/C in your truck there is a electric plug on the low pressure side of the A/C close to the oblong black cylinder. That is the low pressure switch. When it is disconnected the clutch will not engage.
