if your just pulling it off to change the front seal. all you need to do is remove the belts off of the accs. then remove the bolts out of the balancer and use a puller to remove it. it will stay in time. the timing gear has a key on the crank to hold it in postion.
you will need a few special tools, the harmonis balancer will need to come off, lots of parts will need removed for acces to get the cover off, you will also need to drop the oil pan also, go buy a book from any auto parts store. make sure to read everything first before you start the repair, if your no foresure or comfortable doing the job then take it to someone who is, better to pay a little now then a bunch later.
well get ready cuz ur not gonna like it in order to change the water pump you must remove the top left motor mount then remove all the belts and plastic covers you can get to then pull the harmonic balancer and acc belt tensioner then then remove the rest of the plastic covers take off the timing belt and tensioner pulley assembly then u can remove the water pump install is reverse of tear down but make sure you get the block clean and replace the timing belt too otherwise that water pump wont matter cuz you'll meed a new enginge when that belt breaks
