The solution was helpful but the fuel pump is under the back seat. I have disconnected the fuse on top of what I presume is the fuel pump.

This problem is related to a defective fuel pump, you will need to replace it. here is how you do that

Prepare your vehicle for fuel pump servicing. Relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench. Remove the spare tire cover (if present) and trunk floor so that you can open the access panel and disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pump. remove the fuel pump module retainer and remove the fuel pump, follow the instruction that come with the new pump and install pump, install back in tank, reinstall retaining ring for fuel tank fuel pump module and then reinstall trunk access cover and spare tire.

If it has fuel injection it could be throttle position sensor or other sensors that regulate fuel into the engine. Find a book, maybe buy a diagnostic plug-in device for that car and it might send a code to dashboard with flashing lights, that's the modern feature these days. If Dodge has that it could tell you what's wrong and better to try first than replacing expensive fuel pump or taking to mechanics. My 93 gmc has fuel injection and computer and recently it flashed a code 15, found codes on internet and it said problem was a coolant temperature sensor reading too high. It would start cold, but nearly would not start with engine warm. Replacing that solved it.

93 b2600.. cool days needs ether to initailly start, then fine. Sun beatingg on hood & hot; starts fine. go figure

Coolant temp sensor acts as engine choke for fuel injected cars, so if it fails you will have this issue. Some early fuel injected cars also had a "cold start injector".

Ive got a 93 mazda mx-6. the motor came out of a 97 ford probe 2.0. with that being said.. 2 days ago, i drove it down a bumpy road (slow) at a coast. it dies and won't start. ive looked everywher

According to the wiring diagram, there is no inertia switch on a Mazda MX-6. The fuel pump circuit only has a pump relay which is powered by a fuse and grounded by the computer.
And if the car did have an inertia switch it would not affect the ignition system.
If you have no spark and no fuel pressure I would check the circuits for the pump, coil, and computer at those fuse locations and beyond. Could have shaken something loose at the key switch or in the wiring.

My honda accord 93 won't start wen is hot,mi honda accord no enciende cuando esta caliente o cuando lo dejo bajo el sol

Overview Why doesn't my Honda or Acura start sometimes? The main relay is famous for stranding people for a few minutes usually in a parking lot in hot weather. The problem is so common that it's been coined the "petrol station fuel relay" from fuel station attendants. The technical name for the main relay is PGM-EFI Main Relay Assembly. PGM stands for programmed, EFI stands for Electronic Fuel Injection.

First, see if it loses fuel, or spark when it dies.

Sometimes my 92 accord won't start.

sounds like your fuel pump may be going out or you may have a clog in your fuel line. i would first replace the fuel filter because that is cheap ( like 10 bucks) then i would see if that does it - if not then i would replace the fuel pump.

If my memory i correct you have a fuel pump in the tank to a low pressure line that goes to the injection pump.  Beware, if this is your setup, the fuel rail after the injection pump carries high pressure fuel (around 100 PSI), so be very careful here.

Since you have checked spark and suspect fuel, get a haynes manual for about $20 (parts store, amazon, haynes.com) and go through thier diagnosis/trouble shooting for fuel system.  Since you understand basis diagnosis, this manual will fast track you on how to best test your exact setup, by people that have taken it apart.

The following info is how I think that system works on a late 90's accord, but they will tell you exactly and concisely ... and save you hours of time.
The fuel pump in the tank probably has a check valve that holds fuel in the low presure line to the injection pump, so that gravity/syphon doesn't pull fuel back into the tank.  These check valves can go bad or get foreign matter in them and intermittently get stuck open.  Before the engine starts, the pump in the tank may get turned on, but frequently this is on a short timer.  If the valve didn't keep fuel in the loine, the timer will run out before the fuel gets pushed back up to the injection pump.  When you turn the key to the on position, listen for a quiet little motor whirring ... if it's there it will probably only be on for a few seconds, then stop,  If this is the case you can attempt to get pressure to the injection pump by turning the key on, then when the pump stops, turn off ... and repeat this 3-4 times. With luck after a few times you won't hear the pump come on ... and it will now start.

This is all based on a 98 Passport (Honda badged Izuzu), but many cars have this setup.  The dealer told be a number of things injectors bad/dirty, wrong spark plug#$@%! but never checked pressure on the fuel rail.   When things are working right, the high pressure fuel rail should hold close to the 100 PSI or so operating pressure indefinately.  This is easily tested by a mechanic by pluggin a pressure guage into the high pressure side, and going back after an hour to see if the pressure held or is dropping;

good luck

is worth about $3-4, but that you cannot get
