The vehicle speed sensor is located on the transaxle output shaft, on the passenger side of the car. It will be near the inboard cv joint on the right side drive shaft.
Due to your Buick being only the second year of the drivers side air bag in the steering wheel...I recommend you first disconnect one side of the battery...You should find 2 bolt heads...one on each side...on the backside of the steering wheel handles (spokes)...when you remove these...the front trim of the horn assembly should pull forward allowing you to replace or repair one of the buttons...:)
You may need to move some things aside from the passenger side front of engine bay to see water pump pulley. Remove drive belt. Remove Water pump pulley (forward, front of engine). You should now see the bolt hold the water pump to the housing remove bolts and water pump should come right out.
That is not a compatible transmission for that vehicle. The 91 transmission is either a 4T60 or a 4T60E transmission, and the 98 Century should have a 4T65E transmission.
