Question about 1988 Pontiac Fiero

1 Answer

I have a 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula with V6 and automatic transmission. The radio power and horn will not work. The fuse will blow out the moment it is installed. Can't find any shorts in the wiring yet. Unable to locate a wiring diagram for the horn circuit. All battery cables have been replaced, starter switch replaced. All other electrical circuits work fine. Any suggestions and/or horn wiring diagram?

The Pontiac Fiero was made from 1984 to 1988

Radio and horn will not work

I had the same exact issue today on my 86 Fiero. The Radio and Horn stopped working same time. There is a 20 amp fuse that is marked for the Horn but no mention of the radio. It is in the middle of the Fuse box. 86 -88 should have the same fuse box. ( If you reference the Chilton book they say the fuse is for Horn Cigarette lighter etc. but again no mention of the radio) I just happened to check this fuse (It was blown) and sure enough everything came back. Hope this helps......
