Excessive refrigerant will cause real high pressure and make it more difficult for engine to turn compressor. And overfilling will cause the flashing to take place in the suction line to compressor and not in the evaporator - ergo , poor cooling.
Remove the excess refrigerant and use some gauges to monitor the pressures.

My 2004 Pontiac Aztek isn't blowing heat. It blows cold air. I had a coolant flush in december.

You probably have an air bubble and therefore doesn't have enough anti freeze in the system. Carefully remove the radiator cap when the engine is running and verify it and/or notice the hot/cold marking on the overflow tank. The system needs to be full to heat.

2004 suzuki verona surges at idle with air on. Is ok with air off. Air conditioning is fine, full of freon and clutch stays engaged when on. The surging is caused by an air leak or vaccumn leak but de

mass air flow sensor or a cracked air intake snorkel can also cause this problem too I recommend to check fuel pressure when this happen it should be close to 45psi also when the engine is stopped the fuel could be leaking down to the engine

2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. What control heat and a/c besides actuator ,driver side warm air other side cold.

Has anyone checked the system to see if it is full of freon ? If it is full, you could have a problem with the HVAC control module.

My 2004 pontiac vibeblows only hot air when i turn on the air conditioning its like the heat is o n really hot air like you got the heat on

check and make sure the a/c compressor is turning on when the a/c is turned on. if it is then make sure the cooling fan comes on, if the compressor is not working then you may have a faulty low pressure switch, you can unplug the electrical connector and test the harness side of the connector by jumping the 2 terminals using a paper clip to see if the compressor turns on. if the cooling fan is not turning on it will cause the a/c system to not operate to reduce the chance of the vehicle overheating when the a/c is turned on. hope this helps

When the compressor kicks on, is the air from the vents blowing cold? If the air isn't blowing cold, then your problem could be that you may have water in the system. I had a '93 Chevy Z71 that wouldn't blow cold and thats what my problem was. System needs to be evacuated and refilled. Good luck bro.

When turn my A/C on it just blows hot air

the first thing is to check the fuses, then check to make sure the system has enough freon in it, with out freon the system will not turn on and you will get hot air,and the last thing to check if everything is working correct would be the blend door, make sure it moves from hot to cold air selection.

Think the a/c has a leak. Put botttles of freon

deifinitely leaking...most likely spot is the condenser and accumulator..could also be at the compressor.
