It should be on the fire wall in the engine compartment. may be clogged and backing up into the hvac case. if it is leaking coolant and not just evaporater water, you have a leak around your heater core, if unclogging the evaporater drain tube in the engine bay doesn't fix your problem you will want to take it to a professional as dash removal may be necessary.

First make shure its not just water vapor first whats it leaking the low side were you drain R12 out if you have to much in it the low side bottom the car. You can buy a gage at most stores with R12 with dye to find leaks. If leaks the dye will show the leak and you add the dye only if the truck low dont over fill it becuse loc up the ac pump and belt.
If leaking R12 it should be like oily if you just have water on the pump that just condonsationn on the pump

Why does my 2004 Saturn Ion AC leak water into passenger side floor?

The condensation drain line has either gotten plugged or has fallen off.

The component of an A/C system that makes the air cold is called the evaporator, logically it needs to be in the air-conditioned space. In cars it's nearly always in the dashboard on the passenger side.

Warm air holds more moisture than cold air, so as air is circulated through the evaporator to cool it, the moisture in the air condenses back to liquid, like a mini rain shower in a box. That water, usually called condensate, has to go somewhere so there is a hole in the bottom of the evaporator and a tube to carry it out of the cab, through the firewall, into the engine compartment and onto the ground.

If the tube becomes plugged, condensate will accumulate until it overflows an air vent. If it comes off or cracks, the problem is obvious. It's pretty common for a condensate drain in a car to plug, junk falls into the intake vent that won't fit down the drain.

Clearing it would be simple if getting to it wasn't so involved, check your service manual for details.

The oil drain plug is under the passenger side of the engine, it is on the posterior-inferior portion of the oil pan.

2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor Air Conditioning Drain Leak

Water dripping on the passenger side is usually accompanied by rushing water noise during sharp turns. This is extremely common on Endeavors, and is caused by a blockage in the drain of the AC system. It can be caused by leaves/debris or insulation foam that has come loose. There is a bulletin to remove the foam and any leaves/debris under warranty (5y/60k) and install a cabin filter to prevent recurrence.

Air conditioner

On the underside of the bblower housing is a drain. The blower housing is on the firewall in front of the passenger in engine compartmentA big black box. Feel around underneath it and when located, squeeze like a coin ourse and finger the scum out of it. and the water should drain. The fan is another issue. Either no power to it or its defective. chk f4 blown fuses or touchy switch.
