Question about 1997 GMC Sierra K2500
I have a 1996 GMC K2500 I know the ignition key is worn and you can pull ot out with the truck running. A new problem surfaced the other day the truck would run the battery down. I had the heater fan swith on and I guess the Key is staying in the accessory position. If I replace the key cylinder will this solve my issue.
Hardly seems worth changing the lock cylinder, since it is not that easy.
Just be more careful turning the ignition off.
Put in an ignition indicator light on the dash if you have to.
