Go to this website for all the information for your car:

This is the Mitchell DIY catalog website, there is a fee but is worth it, since they have all the information for your car. It saved me thousands of dollars on repairs, for real. I had to replace a head gasket unit for a 2000 Honda Accord LX V6 3.0 engine, and thanks to it I was able to not only do that, but to entirely disassemble the whole engine, re-gap the intake and exhaust valves, change the water pump, check the IAC, EGR, TPS, CKP, and TPS sensors and replace them if needed, and even replace a bent intake valve. All of this work would have costed about $4,000, but I got it done for less than $700 by just reading about it, learning step by step, taking my time, and getting it done. Need to mention that about 2 months ago I had never before done this kind of work, just basic stuff like oil changes, air filters, etc. Now I feel confident enough to break down the whole engine and put it back together myself in my own garage (hell, I already did that), and I am a biology major!

Good luck.

2004 Ford F150 rear entertainment system will not eject dvd, will play the dvd and will run when eject button pushed but will not eject the dvd any ideas on how to get the unit to eject the dvd?

The unit is connected by small set of gears that push tray /disc out. As tray comes out it either pushes disc out of slot or pops open door (depending on which style of face you have). If you have kids I would not be surprised if something is caught in between disc and face or jamming edge of door. (know this from own experience). The face of player can usually be carefully popped off by gently prying at corners. If you get face off you may be able to see if something is stuck in unit that does not belong, or see if a piece is broken loose near face. If unit has door that opens you can try using a slim but stiff piece of plastic and keep tension on door with plastic while hitting eject button. On some units there is a small hole on face that is manual release that ejects disc - even if no power. Usually takes a long straight push in hole (straightened paper clip or dental pick) and it manually pushes gear set to go out. So many of these units are different but most do have a manual release. Check owners manual to see if it shows a picture of face and possible release hole. Have had kids fight over changing a disc and pushed in on it while it was ejecting so it stripped gears, and had kid hang on ceiling mount unit that tore screen totally off. I feel your pain....

Why does my 2007 hyundai entruge van remote lock not working on rear doors or tailgate door?

You must read the owners manual to learn all of the features available. I think if you push the unlock button twice within 3 seconds all doors will unlock. See page 3-4 in the manual in the link.

What button do u push after ur code on the door of a 2003 grand marquis?

Find the factory code on a sticker, mounted on the passenger side hinge of the trunk (five digits).
When you enter the code, following it immediately with at 5 will open the trunk.
When you enter the code, following it immediately with 3 will open all doors.
Holding the first two buttons (1*2 and 3*4), all doors will lock.
You can also program a unique USER code. Check your Owner's Manual.

Remote door opener

So, you get out your remote control to your garage door opener and, then get your owners manual to your new car. You need to follow the instructions from the manufacturer to be able to program the remote control to the car.

Ok, you have followed the instructions from the car manufacturer and you press the button for the garage door to go up.......and nothing happens. So, then you think you have missed a step on the programing. Well, what most instruction manuals leave out is the step from programing the car/truck/van to the garage door machine itself. On the back side of your garage door opener is a panel called the logic board. The logic board is the computer or brain of the machine. Most new garage door openers now are a mulit-code machine. By that, i mean it uses several signals each time you press the button on your remote control. This is for security, so your code can't be stolen by a code-grabber.

Now, comes the step of programing the vehicle to your garage door opener. Once you have followed the instructions of programing your vehicle, you now have to "teach" the car to the garage door opener. You will need some help doing this. You will have to get someone to press the button in your vehicle and hold it down, while someone else has to press the learn button on the back your your garage door opener mounted on the ceiling. The learn button on the back of your machine will be square if using a liftmaster machine. Craftsman, Liftmaster, Chamberlain are all the same. Their learn buttons are square, and usually are yellow, red/orange, or purple. If using a Genie, it has a button that says "learn button".

The person pushing the button on the machine will only have to push and release the learn button. DO NOT hold this button down. If you do, it erases all of the programing in the machine, and you have to re-program all the remote controls that you have. You will have to read my other hub to find out how to do that. You will probably say a few words you shouldn't either. :-) Programing the vehicle to the machine only takes a second, and when the machine accepts the code, the light bulb on the machine should flash for a brief moment, and you should hear audible click. Yep, it's that easy! I dont know why the auto makers leave that step out. Anyway, i hope this helps, and if you have any questions.. leave them in my comments and i will try to walk you through it. See the photo above and you will see the typical logic board...the square red/orange learn button is easy to see. Just remember to press and release

Where do i find the keyless entry code for a 2003 ford windstar

Ford cars and such will put a sticker on the hinge or back gate with the numbers on it. It will just be a white sticker with black numbers. A five digit code. Ford provides this number on a small credit-card type card, inside the Owner's Manual binder.

The 2001 Ford Windstar manual says that the 3 places where the code is located is:
1. On a card (almost business card size) in the glove compartment - my Windstar did not have it (my 1989 Ford Thunderbird had this card and still has it)
2. A sticker that is located on the computer module - this should be located underneath the dash/steering wheel on the driver's side (by the fuze box - bolted to the firewall of the car/van) - my van did not have this sticker on the module.
3. The Dealer - my dealer wants $41+tax to hook up a computer to it to scan the Van's computer

Maybe this will help. On a 95 its behind the lower center storage compartment below the radio.its held on with four plastic screws, remove the screws and remove the storage compartment.the module is bolted on with two 9mm nuts, its black and has a lot of wires running to it. if you push your door lock button you can hear and feal the relays in the can undo the two 9mm bolts and pull the module out enough to read the 5 digit code or leave it bolted and use a mirror to see the backside of the module, but dont unplug anything, its not needed.enter that code and within 5 seconds hold down the 1/2 button for a couple seconds then enter the new 5 digit code within 5 seconds

Good luck.

The best thing that you can do is get the owners manual for your car and follow the instructions. For my Jeep linked to a Genie Door the steps were:
1. Clear the existing memory by holding the first & third button at the same time for 20 seconds. 2. Remove the cover on the opener so that I could push the transmitter link button on the door opener. 3. After pushing the button on the opener I had to then push whatever button that I wanted to program on the homelink in the car. (This has to be done several times if you have a rolling code door opener). 4. Repeat as necessary for each opener/homelink you are trying to program.
Again the best thing to do is get the owners manual for the car and follow the directions.
Good luck!

Program garage door opener in 2000 lincoln navigator

owner manual has instructions. Your garage door opener changes codes every time it is used so you need to push a button on your door motor and then run back to car to program while the door motor is willing to accept programming.

Program my garage door opener on my pontiac montana 2005

you probably have a garage door opener that changes the code after each opening. I had to push a button on the door motor and then run to the car and push the opener button within 15 seconds. Your car salespwrson is usually an expert at this.

Purchased a used 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, did not have an original owners manual with factory code card in pack ( ordered an owners manual on line ) my question is how do I program the driver door...

Ok there are 2 ways to retrieve the key-less entry code. First and easiest way is to carry it to a shop that has a scan tool that can read pid data from the driver's door module .They can pull up that pid and display your code right on the screen.
The second and hardest method is to remove the driver's door panel to access the driver's door module and there will be a tag on it with the 5 digit code.
Yes you can program your own code into it however you must have the original code .Input the original code then hit the number 2 button then put in your own 5 digit code. This code will remain until you disconnect the battery or battery goes dead then it reverts back to the original.
You can also go to this website and download your owners manual for free. Just pick owner guide in the left task bar and input your vehicle information.
