No, it is not a major issue unless it is haunted :) You probably have a faulty switch in one of the doors, most likely the drivers door since it is used so much. You can buy these at any auto parts store or your dealer. I would get one at the dealer since it is a cheap part anyway and will fit perfectly. It is always nice to have a service manual for your vehicle if you want to save money on repairs. Buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual for your car at the local parts store. The switch is a normally closed push to open (disconnect the circuit) and looks like a long button inside a circular housing. Replace it with the new one and your problem should be solved. If it is not the door switch then there is a relay/timer in some models that leaves the interior lights on for a few minutes and/or slowly dims the lights to off position. Your owners manual or service manual will tell you where the relay is. Replace that and you will be in business. Best of luck you.

My interior lights come on at random, while parked and sometimes while driving. I noticed today that the alarm does not activate when this happens while it is parked and the interior lights are on.

Each door has a switch on the door opening that turns the light on when it is open, one of them is faulty or the door is not closing it.

The interior brake light on my console is illuminated.

The brake warning light tells the driver the parking brake is on, or the fluid in the hydraulic system is low.
If the parking brake is not on, and the fluid level is ok, it could be the parking brake switch or the fluid level sensor.

1995 dodge intrepid wont start. Battery is fully charge but no power to anything. Car wont start

The alternator would not come into play unless the battery was dead.
Could be corrosion inside one of the battery cables, or a blow maxi fuse for the fuse box. Or a bad ground connection.
You would need to take a meter or test light and check for power at the starter post, and the major fuses.

1995 buick century, interior lights& tail lights not woring

Your interior lights fuse is powered by the tail/park lamp fuse, that way you know when your parking lamps are not working. Your interior lights probably went at the same time, but you noticed them first. Most likely, you have a blown park/tail lamp fuse. Check the fuse first, replace it if it's open. If it blows again, you have a short in the park lamp circuit.

Dash lights, parking lights & interior lights don't work

Somebody left a wire harness unplugged. Look under the dash around the steering column, find something dangling that will fit into something else dangling. Undangle by connecting.
Or:
Take it back to whomever changed the steering sensor, their bad!
