Have 97 gmc suburban. Heat blows out vents an floor when I switch to defrost it jus stays on vents. Passanger side will defrost verry slow. Half of driver side will not defrost. What could b issue?

Dear Aaron,
Your heater and air conditioner assemblies are partly vacuum actuated.
The parts underneath the dash are also largely plastic.
Many, if not most of the time, either there is a vacuum leak ( that you
probably cannot hear) or a plastic part that is sticking or has broken. Those parts like that are usually inside the housing & ductwork under the dashboard on the right side also under the glove box.
God bless your efforts.

Check right behind glove box, there should be a slotted area to remove the filter.

A/c not blowing hard in front on a 1999 chevrolet suburban

If the fan is not blowing on high you would check the resistor and for blockage in the vents. Could also be a blend door problem.

The front air isn't blowing hard through the vents but some air is blowing through the defrost

The vents are not working properly. most run off of vaccum and that sounds like your problem. could also be the controls. suburbans are famous for this.

1997 gmc rear air conditioner is blowing hot

Could be a blockage in the lines to the rear unit.
Might be low on freon too. Or a blend door problem.
Can you check under the floor and see if one of the lines is cold ?

1995 GMC suburban temp guage pegs high, but heater

Sounds like there may be an air pocket in the system.
Try 'burping' the system. If this still doesn't fix the problem, check the temperature of the heater core hoses (in and out) The inlet should be fairly cool, the other should be piping hot. If they're both cold; the heater core has an internal blockage.

Next, replace the thermostat with a winter (180-195 F) derivative.
Bleed the system accordingly, and keep me posted!

Where's the low A/C recharge valve in 1995 GMC Suburban?

The valve will be under your hood, on a line that runs from your AC pump, and it will have a blue cap on it. It's about three times as big as a tire valve cap. It sounds like you should let someone else do it.
