Question about 2002 Chevrolet Impala
I just put in a new radiator, thermostat, antifreeze today. I bought the pump about two months ago. When i bought the car temperature would stay about 180 now it overheats any suggestions
Have someone take a look at your lower intake manifold. I had the same problem and found out there was a leak there and had to replace the gasket, which is very common for this vehicle.

#1 The radiator cap has to be checked, should be in good condition, and rated for 22lbs or less.
#2 Do you see any turburlance in the coolant/radiator when the car is warmed up and running. If not the thermostat may be installed backwards.
