Check your PVC valve. It is suppose to vent the blowby. But if your rings are failing, then you will get a lot of blowby.

What is causing my 300 straight 6 to blow oil out

If the oil filter is in that area check that it is fitted correctly. Check for an oil pressure sender unit in that area. Check for a failed rocker cover gasket ( loose bolts/screws or faulty PCV valve operation allowing excessive crankcase pressure which has pushed the gasket out at the loosest point.

Why won't my car start when it first turns over?

A bad fuel pressure regulator will cause, instant drop of fuel pressure once the vehicle has been turned off, delay building sufficient fuel pressure. To check, For internal leaks. Remove vacuum hose from regulator look inside of the vacuum line, and if it does not have signs of fuel in it. it is ok. unless theres a leak around regulator. The fuel should be pressurized through the fuel lines. Even when its cold. Good-Day!

No heat blowing cold air.

Do you smell coolant inside of the vehicle. If so then chances are your heater core is going.

Vacuum diagram for a 2004 tiburon

There is only 4 vacuum lines on that engine

1- brake booster line

2- purge line to purge solenoid (top center of throttle body)

3- PCV hose. run straight from PCV to side of intake at base of throttle body

4- fuel pressure regulator line (short small diameter hose runs from #6 intake runner to fuel pressure regulator

5- tube that connects front cam cover to rear cam cover to improve vapor venting

Problems with the fuel pressure system on 98 mercury sable

I'm not sure what this guy has done and not saying anything bad about him. I just want to help and explain a litle about your fuel system. As far as the gas lines blowing, You have metal and rubber hoses and am guessing the rubber hoses are the ones that had a problem. The only reason the metal ones would go is rust or something hittting them and knocking a hole in them. Ruber hoses can get rotten and get a leak. Below are some pictures of the underside of the fuel tank and as you can see many of those lines are mounted and if some of those mounts were not disconnected is could have pulled on one of the rubber lines and ripped it. I'm guessing that's what happened and he may have just said they blew. Will get to a blown line in a second. By the way I have been working on cars for over 25 years and have forgotten to disconnect things and ripped lines myself....it happens. Now fuel lines "blowing", in my years of working on vehicles I have hardly come across this unless the car sat for a long time and the fuel system was clogged up but even in those cases they were old and rotten. The fuel pump should only constantly run when turning the engine over or while it is running. If the system were that clogged it wouldn't run there for no extra pressure would really build up. When you turn the key to just the on position the fuel relay turns on for a few seconds and then automatically shuts off. Therefore your not just building and building pressure. Now the fuel regulator is done by vacuum. If it were bad you would have less pressure. They do not clog and cause a build up of fuel pressure and if they did, there is a diaphram inside the regulator that would blow and develope a leak (vacuum wise) and again no or little pressure not more. Below is also a picture of the fuel regulator and on top of it you can see where the vacuum line attaches. I hope I was able to help you understand a bit and just didn't confuse you more. Hope this helps...

BLACK EXHAUST SMOKE IS A RICH FUEL MIXTURE.CAUSE BY WEAK SPARK IGNITION, FAULTY MAP SENSOR CHECK MAP SENSOR VACUUM HOSE AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR BECAUSE BAD MAP SENSOR WILL CAUSE RICH FUEL MIXTURE CHECK THE VACUUM LINE GOING TO FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, MAKE SURE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR GETTING VACUUM AT VACUUM LINE IF NOT LOOK FOR BROKEN OR DISCONNECTED VACUUM LINE TO FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, CHECK FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR VACUUM LINE IF YOU SEE GASOLINE IN VACUUM DIAPHRAM TO FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR REPLACE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR,CHECK THE EVAP CANISTER IF GAS SOAK IT WILL CAUSE RICH FUEL MIXTURE.

Code p0410b secondary air injection system? what does it meen? what is the cause?

The secondary air injection system is an electric low pressure air pump that blows air into the exhaust stream to help burn up Hydrocarbons (HC), it only operates under certain conditions such as a cold engine. The common cause of failure is that the electric pump motor fails. The pump is sold as one complete assembly and is located under the hood of the car in the engine bay. The part is about $300 and is dealer only. Below are all the possible causes of the OBD2 fault code P0410 Possible causes - Vacuum hoses damaged.
- Air Pump inoperative. (most common cause)
- Air bypass solenoid circuit open.
- Air bypass solenoid leaking/blocked or stuck open/closed.
- Air diverter valve leaking/blocked or stuck open/closed.
Other possible causes and solutions to the code. - Visually inspect vacuum lines for disconnects in the AIR systems and visually inspect for proper vacuum line routing. Repair if necessary.
- Disconnect the air pump hose at the solenoid valve, start the engine and see if there is air being pumped

The vehicle wont accept fuel it spills all over and gas gauge is stuck over full??? but runs out of gas, then very very very slowly it accepts very little gas then you can drive again.chevyscott20@yahoo.com

SOUND LIKE YOUR EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL NOT WORKING.SCAN VECHICLE FOR FOR FAULTY FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR MALFUNCTION.AND THE CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE OR CANISTER VENT SOLENOID NOT WORKING.CAUSING EXCESSIVE FUEL PRESSURE AND FUMES BUILD UP IN FUEL TANK.CHECK CANISTER IT COULD BE GAS SOAKED NEED REPLACING OR VACUUM LINES GOING TO CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID OR VENT SOLENOID COULD BE BROKEN.PURGE VALVE LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE ON A BRACKET AND VENT SOLENOID LOCATED ON A BRACKET NEXT TO FUEL TANK.CHECK BOTH MAKE SURE VACUUM LINES NOT BROKE OR DISCONNECTED.MAKE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR INTACT ALSO.FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR ON TOP OF TANK ON THE FUEL PUMP MODULES.ALL YOU CAN DO IS REMOVE CANISTER SEE IF FULL OF GAS REPLACE IT.AND CHECK FOR BROKE AND DISCONNECTED VACUUM LINES.THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO HOOK UP DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT CHECK IT OUT.BE CHEAPER BECAUSE ALL THEM EVAP PARTS NOT CHEAP THAT WHY LET DEALERSHIP SCAN IT SAVE MONEY IT WILL CUT THE COST.WARNING DONT KEEP DRIVING VECHICLE.GAS VAPORS PRESSURE BUILD UP ON HOT DAY FUELTANK WILL BLOW UP LIKE BALLON.PRESSURE KEEP BUILDING UP.

Heater is blowing luke warm air. does not get any hotter

Quite a few idea's come to mind.
1) Thermostat is stuck open, causing the engine to run cool.
2) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the air "flap" is stuck open, allowing cool air in all the time.
3) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the line that feeds the heater core isn't opening all the way.
