Question about 1998 Hyundai Elantra
1998 Hyundai Elantra wagon: My shift lock sticks sometimes in park. I work with it (well, get mad and jiggle it too much) and maybe after about 5 minutes of frustration it will finally shift into reverse. Any idea what is going on? Thanks.
Dear friend-remove the cable from the gearbox, then move the gearshift to see if that is free.if that is free then move the link on the gearbox to see if that is normal.that should give you a idea of were the problem lies.
