The problem is in the heater box. To be more specific, the blend door. Check blend door operation and blend door motor. Located right side under dash. Remove blend door motor, with vehicle running, move switch from panel to defog and see if blend door motor moves.

I have a 1999 chevy silvarado my heater\AC vents do not work properly anymore. Everything comes out on the floor.

I would suggest to check the selector switch. If there is a loose connection there you will not be able to select the direction where the air should flow.

My heater in my 2005 chevy silverado is blowing warm air but not hot

Your heater core is probably getting plugged up. THis is a common problem with any car as the flow through the heater core is not as much as through a radiator which causes silt deposits in the inside of heater core itself. If you replace that your problem should go away. You should be able to feel a difference in temperature of the coolant in the supply line versus the return line going to the heater core. If there's a dramatic difference then the core is plugged.

2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

enjoy
