Question about 2000 Jaguar S-Type
I am looking for a wiring diagram or sevice manual for an s-type jaguar
Problem being battery keeps going flat like there is an item still running
and i have to keep leaving on charge over night etc
Your experiencing what is called a battery draw, and you are correct with the key off something is remaining on draining the battery.I dont have a manual, but offer this.take a ohm meter put it on 10 remove the battery ground place the ohm meter between the ground cable and the battery terminal.mark or remember where you pull the fuses from, and begin removing them one at a time, each time look to see it the ohm reading drop to 0.If you find it this way you will know which circuit to search for the draw.most of the time the clock is the problem.O door jam switch,or the dome light can be the problem, hope this helps.
