This was most difficult to perform and makes you curse the engineer who designed this configuration. First there is nothing like having the correct tool.. Unless you remove the front engine mounts and tilt forward you'll find you can not get a socket nor standard wrench on the back left hand 15mm bolt of the alternator.....The other back bolt requires a universal a short extension, In either case of tilt engine or not, you'll need a short low profile stubby 12 pt 15 mm wrench for the back left bolt. I used a C configuration six inch 12 pt low profile ****** wrench without tilting engine to remove this bolt. That worked great. Remove the front alternator 15 mm bolt and the attaching nut mount! It'll only be in the way later, so remove the nut mount too! Had the alternator loose in about 45 minutes. Then the fun starts. GM manual says to tilt engine to remove the back bolts. I didn't but that's really is the only thing that helps with (better access to rear bolts. Next you must remove the one 15 mm bolt for the belt tension-er and remove it. Easy enough. Next you must remove 3 each 15 mm bolts to remove the alternator bracket. Manual doesn't tell you there are 3 bolts ( two on side and one in the back directly below where the first two bolts attached the alternator in the back.. You must remove it to remove bracket! Fair enough, got alternator mounting bracket out along with engine lift point bracket. Next you'll need to remove the 3 13 mm bolt from the power steering pump through holes in the pulley! A magnet helps with removal. You'll need to remove power steering pump taking care not to damages lines. and place on the side in front of the timing chain cover. This is no easy task. Make sure you do not bend steel lines as they must fit back in place to clear the serpentine belt when re-installed. Learned that the hard way! You'll next need to remove the wiper motor linkage from passenger with the 2 8 mm bolts. disconnect the driver's side linkage from the center. Move wipers to full extension. Next remove 2 bolts from wiper actuator bracket (bar) on passenger side and single bolt on motor and actuator mount (passenger side). Next loosen ( but don't remove 2 each 10 mm bolts attaching bar to center actuator. Or if you real nimble remove them completely if you want to remove the cross bar completely. If you choose to remove cross bar, you'll need to remove the very difficult mounts bolts from driver's side. Makes alternator much easier, but these two bolts are a real pain to remove! I loosened middle and pried the motor actuator a little to extract the alternator! You'll find that the fuel rail shrader valve will be in your way. But with a little persuasion the alternator can be removed. Replacement alternator had a small profile difference. But again a little persuasion and it was in. Next put powersteering pump back on (a must before alternator bracket). Caution !!!!! make sure lines are flush and will not cause interference with belt. You can see this before re-installing alternator.Get alternator bracket in place and check these lines before you put tension-er and alternator back on. You'll just have to remove again if problems are noted! If lines are ok, then install alternator and tension-er. Reattach wiper hardware. Note I removed the washer pumps and connectors to facilitate easier temporary placement of power steering pump. In closing I'd like to say the engineer who had the wisdom to place this item in this configuration must be a very sadistic person or extremely stupid!

You will need to remove the fuel rail, pull the injector out and put new one in. Only thing you need to remember is that you have to pay attention to "o" ring seal, making sure you remove the old one and not damage the new one. There are specific instructions for removal in any inexpensive manual.
