Check the fuse for the directional signals and replace if blown Also try replacing the directional signal flasher. This is different from the one that controls the emergency flashers. Consult your owners manual for the location. U

Where is the flasher on a 2003 olds alero

Its located behind the hazard button to the right of the speedo cluster. If you have a clicking noise as if your turn signal was on or hazard buttons pressed. Its not your flasher problem. I had to tear apart half the dash and found out that was not problem. Its the turn signal/ wiper switch located on top the steering column.

Hope helps.

1999 OLDS ALERO FLASHER

In Olds Alero the flasher is intergrated into the hazard light button. It is all one assembly in the dash. It is in the $40 dollar range, but that is the only way to fix the flashers is to replace assembly. You must remove the plastic housing from around the dash cluster to reach. It is located to the right of the dash cluster. If you are good with your hands you will be able to get it out without taking out the cluster. Be careful, it is held in place with plastic snaps. Part number is on the assembly and it is GM exclusive.
