Where can i get affordable suspention for my 2001 dts

Im going on my 2nd pair of struts, both of them leaked out. Im in canada and this is a dealer item and they are 1200$ each plus tax and installation are there any place were i can get after market shocks and struts that are compatible with the dts that are reasonably priced.I know if the suspentions not plugged in, the car limits you to 145 mph and tells you on the dash.I can live with that as long as the car rides like it used to.

its usually pretty straight forward. you need the garage clicker, and usually you need to hold down the receiver button in your car then press the garage door clicker and there should be an indication that it was stored. if this still doesnt help call caddy dealer im sure they can walk you through it over the phone.

2007 Hyundai Accent. Oil has been leaking into the spark plug wells for awhile. Replaced the valve cover gasket & seals. Cover was full of black sludge & oil seals were rock hard so Im guessing the...

I have seen in the shop some porous housing causing oil leaks. At the same time, I'm suspecting some oil leak coming from one of the axle. If the axle came out just a little bit, this could cause a major leak or, it could be simple as the axle seal giving up.

I hope that the shop is your vehicle sitting in is a Hyundai dealer. As a 2007 year model, this should be warrantable service and Hyundai should cover the repair expenses. Hope you have not done any recent repairs to the transmission that might cause oil leaks.
Try this one, Came out of where, the drain plug? You better have the car towed to a Hyundai dealer, the car is under warranty. If you are doing this service might need to start praying. The fluid is to be changed every 30 K, sounds like you are late in doing that service. I'd check the plug and see if you put it back on, I've seen people do that before or forget to tighten it.

2001 Lincoln town car is squeaking in the front suspension, and when I go over bumps. Is it shocks? Or is it CV joints? Or does it need to be oiled and lobed?

It could be the the struts as I believe you have struts not shocks on your vehicle. I would start with a good lube job as well as check all your front suspention bushings. If all is good there check to make sure your struts are good. They don't need to be totally repalced as you buy an insert to replace them. Look around underneath as someone pushes the car up and down to try to isolate the location of the noise. I hope this helps and good luck.

I have a Suzuki forenza 2004 and it has been nothing but trouble for me. I recently took my car to Michales tires, to purchase a new set of tires and they told me my Front Strut Mounts were bad, and that...

Get a third opinion. I don't see how the Suzuki dealer person could diagnose a problem from a phone call.

Take off a wheel and see how much brake pad you have left. The pulsating sounds like the rotors need resurfacing. Replacing pads and resurfacting rotors shouldn't be a major expenditure.

Hi my front offside suspention spring has cracked an i need too know how to remove it thanx . its for a renault 19 16v 1995 model

I have a renault 19 with the same problem on the passenger side front. It is a straight forward job, you will need two jacks, preferably trolley jacks. It would be alot easier (and cheaper) to completely replace the suspension strut itself rather than squeezing a new spring in. Jack up the car then jack the suspension to a point it will hold suspension in place whilst you undo the bolts etc. Once bolts are undone, SLOWLY release the jack on the actual suspension strut and remove the strut. To replace the strut, put new strut in place jack it up into place carefully so you get it to stay in place. Do up all your bolts, Slowly release jack on suspension strut, then release the other jack holding up the car. I would do this with my car, but i cant be bothered as it has numerous other problems and im scrapping it.

Loud noise from exhaust front end ..check engine light on dash permanent display, hyundai accent gsi 2001 manual says emission problem..make appointment with dealership, can't afford at moment...I...

Start the car open the hood. with the hood open listen and smell for the leak. Probably the frt exhaust manifold leaking. Independent mechanic can repair just as easy. No need for dealer. If the leak is bad enough you will smell exhause leak. Look for the area with the greatest amount of noise.
