Do a continuity test on the crank sensor, if it reads zero, it is bad. if its very near to zero its weak and if its at higher reading its perfect.

My 1996 JEEP grand Cherokee limited 4.0 is not getting spark to the plugs, i changer the crank sensor, and the coil, what else could be causing no spark, i was driving it and it just shut off wouldn't...

How long since tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Did you check primary voltage to ignition coil, engine cranking, dark green wire with orange tracer, use a test light and check for voltage. That voltage comes from asd relay. You may need to check cam and crank sensor, both. I realize you changed the crank sensor, already. Some makes and models, the computer has to see cam and crank signal, both, or it won't ground the asd relay.

Could be other issues?

Truck will not start

remove coil wire at distributor and plug a HEI GM tester spark plug to see if spark at ignition coil if not test ignition coil for current and signal not short to ground

It turns but it wont start,it has gas and power

Pull off the coil ignition cable at the distributor and check for spark coming out of coil when cranking engine over. Use a heavy rag or glove to hold the wire 1/4 inch from a metal ground. Should see a strong blue spark when cranking to verify ignition is good. If no spark, check for battery voltage to coil on the coil primary. If you have current to the coil, suspect a bad coil, ignition module, crank position sensor, or cam position sensor, or pcm. The coil, ignition module, and sensors can be tested before replacing.

Got a 2001 Chevy blazer 4.3L cranks but does not start. got 62 psi at the fuel rail, replaced plugs and wires, got good spark at coil, replacing car and rotor! if the cam sensor or crank senor are bad...

Crank sensor is primarily for the spark and the cam sensor is for fuel management, crank/cam correlation for misfire purposes I would also change the wires.

On this type of vehicles' "Diamler-Chrysler" for some reason the Crank and Cam sensor go bad at the same time but it will still tell you its either one or the other, if you are still getting the Cam sensor trouble code, try replacing the Crank Shaft Position Sensor, I just had a Dodge vehicle with the same problem but in reverse, it kept saying Crank Sensor but it turned out it was the Cam Sensor. Good Luck.

If all the coils are giving spark now, then you moat likely have gas fouled plugs now,so change them out with new ones, all 8 of them.If you do not have spark on all plug wires, pull the timing belt cover, and align the cam shaft and the cam,to see if the belt has jumped. If It hasn`t,replace the crankshaft sensor.

I got a breeze 96. i rent out of gas and my car stop. we put some gas in it try to start it and the car wan to start but nothing.i check the fuel pump it work i check the fire no spark on the sparkplugs...

There are three wires that go to the ignition coil, disconnect the connector and hook up a test light to the center terminal on the wiring harness, turn the key on. The light should come on for 1 second and then will go out. Crank the engine and the light should then come back on and stay on as long as you are cranking. If it doesn't then you might have problem with the Engine Crank Sensor or the Cam Sensor.
