SOURCE: how to use slim jim

ok well first off do you know anyone that has a truck close to the same year if so try using there key it should work to open your door and on how to use a slim jim depends on if you have power locks or not if so it's a bit harder than if you don't but you put it between the window and the rubber seal and slip it under the door locking bar ether up and forword or back if its a manual lock and if not you haft to move the slim about 2 to 5 inches from the lock and do the same good luck

SOURCE: slim jim did not work in opening the veh.

take an old auto antenna or, a very stiff metal rod and, using a plastic blade (like a plaster knife) bend the glass on the driver's side door; at the top of the door; gently outward; place a rubber or, wood spacer (eraser, wedge etc) between the door frame and, the glass: you only need one inch space; use the rod to press /pull the button / lever on the passenger side

SOURCE: how can i slim jim the door? (locked my keys

with out the right tools it will be verry hard also you can break your glass or knock a lock rod off.

THE best way to do this is if you have power locks find somthing you can use as a wedge EXAMPLE;screw driver.place the wedge between the dood and the car you may have to pry it open a little. now get a coat hanger and push the power lock button.

Locked keys in car get door open

Try getting a Slim Jim from your local Automotive Store to open your vehicle. My advice is that after you fix the problem, Get a duplicate key, save it on your wallet or get a magnetic holder to put your duplicate key and hide it in aplace you would only know.

Left my keys on the passanger seat without realising

Try buying a "Slim Jim" tool at your local autoparts car store.
If you don't find it, try ebay and type "Slim Jim tool free shipping."
It will cost you about $6.00 or $7.00.
The most important advice is that you make several key duplicates. Keep one inyour wallet, your house and maybe buy a "magnetic hide a key spare key holder" and hide it somewhere unerneat your car, in a place that nobody will know except you.

My transit pickup will notopen with my fob key the battery connection may be loose but i cant get in to see

you need to get the door open with a slim-jim or a coat hanger.if you don't have a slim-jim.take a piece of wedged wood between the door and body to make a gap to slide the hanger in.insert the hanger around the mirror area.you should be able to reach the lock switch.

My keys are locked in my car and my neighbor brought me his slim jim however i dont want to damage my car i have a 2007 ford mustang rag top

if you are careful it wont hurt anything, but some cars are hard/impossible to slim jim. I would call a locksmith or maybe the dealer can cut a new key if they have the VIN or Key Code.
