SOURCE: How do I disable brake warning light and buzzer on 93 LaSabre?

I can't tell you what will happen from removing that fuse from the block but i would suggest checking the fluid level. Low fluid level will turn on the same light as having the parking brake on. Also are you sure the pedal is fully coming up? If a emergency brake cable is broken the pedal assembly won't return up regardless of how many times you pull the release, leaving the buzzer and indicator on. Try pulling up on the pedal and at the same time pulling the brake release. If the fluid level is good and the pedal is fully up, try disconnecting the switch on the parking brake assembly and see if that turns the light off.

How to disconnect alarm on s type jag? When trying to start car the alarm starts and kills the engine

if you look under the dash to the left of the brake pedal... you should see your fuse panel... above the there should be a black or gray box w/ two sets of wires coming from it ... both sets of wires have inline fuses... try pulling out either of those fuses one at a time , ie. pull one fuse try to start the car if the alarm still goes off replace that fuse and try the other one... this should disable the alarm on your car.

Temporarily disengage alarm on 2000 honda accord ?

Under the dash on driver side the alarm box is usually placed there. You should be able to unplug it from power there.

I have a 2001 winnebago on a workhorse chasis. with 4L80-e transmission that dont lock when put into park

There is a fuse for the auto park that you need to check and also make sure that the reservoir under the winnebago isn"t leaking. There is a green switch under the motor home on the hydraulic unit for the brake that goes bad quit often.

The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the audible warnings. Refer to Body Control System Description in Body Control System for more information regarding the BCM.
The body control module (BCM) controls these reminders:
• Key in ignition reminder: An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the key has been left in the ignition cylinder. The BCM sounds the chime for this reminder at a rate of 150 chimes per minute.
• Fasten seat belt reminder: An audible warning intended to remind the driver at the beginning of the driving cycle that the driver's seat belt is unfastened. The BCM sounds the chime for this reminder at a rate of 50 chimes per minute.
• Fasten belts indicator control: A visual warning intended to remind the driver that the driver's seat belt is unfastened.
• Parking brake reminder: An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the parking brake has been left applied with the transaxle shifted out of PARK. The BCM sounds the chime for his reminder at a rate of 200 chimes per minute.
• Turn signal reminder:
An audible warning intended to remind the driver that the turn signal has been left on while the vehicle has traveled over 1.2 km (¾ mile). The BCM sounds the chime for this reminder at a variable rate (in unison with the turn lamps on) of 90 chimes per minute.
• Headlamps ON reminder: An audible waring intended to remind the driver that the headlamps have been left on. The BCM sounds the chime for this reminder at a rate of 200 chimes per minute.
• Last door closed locking confirmation: An audible warning intended to provide the driver feedback that the last door closed locking feature is active. The BCM sounds the chime for this remainder at a rate of 200 chimes per minute.
• Feature customization and diagnostics feedback: An audible feedback used when changing feature customization modes. Also used by service technicians during the BCM diagnostics. The BCM sounds the chime during the feature customization, and also during diagnostics. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) for additional information.

Horn sounds when battery put back on dodge calibre

anytime the battery is disconnected the alarm will engage, so when you hook the battery back up you need to have your keyless entry transmitter in hand ready to disarm the alarm as soon as you hook the battery back up!!

Alarm system won't reset, car won't start

The alarm system just blows on these cars, its a fact. I never use the key in the trunk because it will trigger the alarm.  I had some trouble with the alarm, and found out it was something to do with the cigarette lighter/cell phone charger connection. I simply don't use that anymore either. When the alarm triggers, and you cant turn it off with the key, it must be a fuse. The alarm will beep an annoying beep for 4 min, in that time i will disconnect the battery cable, find the blown fuse underneath the dash, replace it, and then reconnect the battery, at which time you will have to put your key in the door and disengage the alarm again, and breathe a sigh of relief.  Keep a bunch of 15 or 20 amp fuses around and a 10 millimeter wrench or whatever for the battery terminal.
Good luck.
