No front pump pressure, Change trans filter. This is required at 60,000 miles. I hope it did not damage the clutch packs.

Where is the horn brush and slip ring on a 1996 suburban. After a new multifunction switch was replaced the horn won't work.

Under the steering wheel. If the clock spring is broken the horn wont blow, the cruse wont work and the air bag light stays on.

Cruse control does not speed up

You need to check your fuses first,if they are all good you need to replace you multi function switch

What is the popper gear to drive in when driving a 1996 GMC Suburban

Opinion based question,,Overdrive was intended to benefit larger vehicles on open road rides of distance,,uses less power to maintain steady speed, Drive was intended to be used in more urban settings, red lights pedestrians,stop and starts frequently,,more pull out power to avoid other vehicles in city setting............fuel efficency was the thought. L2 L1 pulling torque or severe condition roads only.

1996 suburban just died on road has spark at the plugs i poured some fuel down the throttle body and it would not start what could be the problem? thank

Timing belt slipped. You'll still have spark and fuel, but it will not start. If you had a timing light, you'd probably find that it is off. Happened to me last year. . .

Where to put the rear axle oil in and what kind of oil?

the rear axle takes 85-140 gear oil if you have limited slip you have to also add a friction modifier to it. you have to fill it from the level check plug about halfway up either on the differential cover or on the front of the third member depending on the axle that you have

Transmission slipping

there are several solonoids inside this transmission .. did he replace all them ? if not I would suggest he do it .. These are problem starters.. they should always be replaced during a rebuild.. thanks jerry
