What is the leak Power steering - Brake fluid - ATF - engine oil - coolant? (ATF Auto transmission fluid) Before you can be advised we need to know what the fluid is concerned. Although you have visual signs the leak source may well be above that location. Have a good look round under hood. If you need to go under the vehicle follow the owners instruction manual for jacking up and stabilising with axle stands.

Coolant leak

Most likely cause would be a leaky coolant hose near the engine block. When the car is warmed up and you turn it off, open the hood and look and listen for a hissing or a stream of coolant coming from one of the coolant hoses. If you can't see the source from above, you might need to look from underneath. If you can see where it's leaking, it might be as easy to fix as a hose change. Or it might be something a little harder to fix. But you need to start by finding the source of the leak.

I seem to be leaking something under my 01 montero sport. The leak is in the middle of my drive shaft right above a small black box (may be a skid protector) where there is a junction. What is this?

depends.
4x4?
2wd could be carrier bearing leaking grease or sllip yoke of drive shaft leaking same thing.
have you looked at fluid? type , feels like, looks like, color, smell etc?

Hi..my name is Keith..and if its leaking up front in the middle..its your water pump..it has a weep hole in the bottom of it..and when the bushing goes bad..the coolant comes out the hole in the bottom of the water pump..but it could be other things..but thats the most likely suspect..if not please write me back and i will help you further

I'm trying to hook up a trailer hitch and need to hook up tail lights to trailer

you may or may not have a trailering wire harness. look for an extra set of wires underneath the middle of the rear bumper (have a peek around the spare, too). this should have a flat plug on it that looks like it belongs on a videogame controller plug. some models also have a covered socket you should look for. if there doesn't appear to be one, you may have to have a professional or a knowledgeable friend put one in.

04 Jag S type middle air vents cool, sides hot. Recirc hot.

here is what you do. look on the passenger side front near the bottom of the radiator. there you will see the dccv or dual coolant control vavle. it will have your two heater hoses running to it and another hose from the radiator under it . once you have identified it , feel and look around it for any signs of leaking. barring any leaks, disconnect the connector, turn the ac/engine on and usining a tester , test for voltage on each of the three wires.if both outer wires have no current ( the middle wire yellow- will have current) then your problem is the control panel. if the control panel is not a navigation it is possible to easily repair it. replacing it can run from 600.00 to 1500.00 depending on who you goe to. oh by the way its still some data that you aint looked at. holla back if you need more help or a repair of the a/c control panel.

Power steering fluid leak (1999 grand am gt)

sounds like a high pressure hose or rack and pinion would have to get underneath and take a good look at it while someone starts it and turns the whell all the way to tyhe left or right and hold it there till you see the leak

1992 ford tempo oil leak?

Definently sounds like the rear main seal. My 97' Dodge Ram has the same issue and it leaks in the exact spot and has the same symptoms. Changing the gasket on the rear seal in simple but it's hard to get it apart to get to it unless you have the right tools and mechanic know-how. Your car seems to be leaking more than mine so it seems to be worst, but it is most definently the rear main seal. I put gasket maker/sealer on mine and it temperarely stopped the leak but due to pressure it will always seem to start again. Your best bet is saving the money or if you have it, invest it and go ahead and have the problem fixed. Hope I was of some help.
