"Wants to"... is kind of an interesting statement.

(I am assuming that means an occasional spark...
or pop from the engine... Wanting to start...??
(TRUE TIMING would be the FIRST thing to check)).

Keeping the year, MAKE & MODEL a secret
is an odd approach... to FACILITATE a fixer...
(what the heck... who needs facts??).

There are a BUNCH of ways you could go...

The most advisable would be to have one of your FREE/FRIENDLY local parts houses... muffler shops...
(etc) read the codes from your car/truck.. bus (whatever) ...

ALL CAR, TRUCKS... busses, go-carts & doodle-bugs
will FAIL to start if their EXHAUST is blocked...

It is actually a more common failure than would be imagined.

On cars built in the last 25 years... the FIRST THING(s)
that get(s) replaced ... OXYGEN SENSORS..

Not because it helps... just because most "mechanics"
you meet are not "mechanics"... they are untrained
DEALER STAFF with wrenches (+ cook-books) in
their hands.

Cook-books + clowns guides (big savings for dealers)...
Costly mistakes for CUSTOMERS...

Just make sure you look up your MUFFLER &
CATALYTIC CONVERTER costs before you go...

Check AMAZON, ROCKAUTO... Even eBay.

2009 toyota corolla verso sr cranks but wont start

Any gas in the tank...?
Yes. Then
First check fuses. (Injector fuse, fuel pump fuse, head or main engine relay) It's not bad idea to check all fuses.

If all fuses're good (Not blow/burn)
-Next check spark and fuel.

My fuel pump fuse keeps blowing

Can not guess why

Has to be diagnosed by a shop
with a data base, so they have access
to wiring diagrams, just like all vehicle repairs

I would think that the fuel pump is worn out

Hey guys, my caravan started this morning then shut off and won't start again. Heres what I did so far checked fuel pump fuse good, fuel pump relay good swapped with other. Removed neg battery cab

If you have voltage at the fuse and relay, and at the pump, but no fuel pressure, I would say the pump has died or the tank is empty.
Have you checked for voltage at the pump yet ?

My car keeps cutting off then wont start but it cranks

Have you checked the fuel pump relay? Or have you checked the fuel pump fuse? If the vehicle is turning over but not starting it sounds like fuel is not making it to the engine. Let me know if it works. If that doesn't work then the other solution would be to check all of the other fuses and see if they are good.

My vehicles been parked for several months occasionally starting it.had it running one day with low fuel vehicle shut down. at a later date i put some fuel vehicle is making no attempt to start. please...

Make sure you put in at least 5 gallons of gas and that the car is on a flat surface while trying to start it. Cycle the key from off to run (but dont start) in ten second intervals, this will prime the fuel system. Also check your fuse box for a blown fuel pump relay. Since the vehicle was run dry it is also a good idea to replace your fuel filter.

Stop spraying starting fluid! Check the fuse for the fuel pump first. Sounds like you have lost voltage signal to the fuel rail. Turn the key on and loosen one of the fuel line connections to see if there is pressure, ware safety glasses! Keep me posted......

Fuel pump does not activate when ignition switch turned on. fuel pump is good probable electrical problem. Have no idea where to start.

Check fuses, if you dont know which one, check them all. Usually one fuse panel under steering column, and another hood, see your user manual
