Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

I have a KewHobby 100 who works for around 4minutes then it sounds like the motor working harder and it stops. I switch it off and after a few minutes I can work for a minute or two before it repetes!

Is the motor overheated and a fuse disconnect it? No oil in the pumphouse?

Kobelco 120 excavator sometimes one track will not drive.

Filter or pressure relief valve, or track feed valve. Otherwise you are in for a big bucks drive motor.
If it were the pump you would have bad everything.

It sounds like you have a faulty switch. I would recommend that you change the wiper control switch. In order to do this, yoyu will need to remove the steering column cover, and the steering wheel. Remember to disconnect the battery when you are performing any work in a car that has a SRS-safety restraint system.

Low/no power to passenger window.

More than likely you have a bad switch. You can try to pry the switch apart and clean the contacts inside. Usually the passenger side switch is pretty inexpensive, around $25-$35. The switches get dirty inside from dirt or water dripping when it rains and the window is opened or if someone might have spilled something on it.

RR power window intermitantly works

You either have excessive dirt in the rubber channels that are slowing the window down, or, you have a bad window motor. Try spraying some 100% silicone spray into the tracks, beside the window, and raise/lower it. If that does not work, the positive coeffcient thermister in the motor is bad; ie replace the motor.

Some times the tracks that the window rides in (inside the door) get gunked up and dirty with the factory lube and dust. this makes the window motor work harder and the overheat and stop. Clean the tracks that the window rollers are in and relube using white grease. the windows should work easer and smoother.

Electric window has stopped rolling up

to get up pull on window with your hand while using switch in up position. if window is cocking to the side it is a bad window regulator. if it is just slow and then stopping probably a bad motor. it is harder to go up than down and this causes more pull on motor as it goes bad it will cause the breaker to heat up and trip so if you wait a few minutes you will see it tries to go up quick way to check if motor is trying to work is to cut key on and watch your dome light when you work switch if it dims a little when you hit up button you know power is going to it. if not then possible switch you passenger window and look at light so you will see what i mean.
