Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500

1 Answer

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71, and I had to disconnect my battery for some work. When I connected everything back in, the A/C only comes out of the defrost or lower vents...not the upper vents. This happened before, but it started working again on its own.

Your unit has a self learning computer and has to relearn how to shift and how to adjust timing and fuel mixture and with ac on and with it off, give it a week before you start worrying about it. and you will probley not meet al the flags it has to set before it finishes learning again. if it does it after that then you may have a problem but let it sort itself out first, It even learns how you drive. No kidding.
