Sometimes as I start out from the Parked or Stopped position, the truck hestiates to go forward for a brief second. It is as if I am on wet pavement or not making some type of contact with road.

At this point, it would be difficult to give you anything accurate as a diagnosis. First question is has the problem happened again since the hose was straightened out?
Since there are no codes, I'd look for something like a loose ground wire, connection at the starter (usually several different systems all get power at the starter main terminal) intermittent disconnect inside ignition switch or an alarm "security system" malfunction. "once in a while" problems are difficult to repair even when a car is at a shop, sometimes requiring multiple visits 'till someone hits upon the right thing. If you bought your car from a dealer, you should make them aware of what's going on.
i hope you find the problem and that one of the ideas I gave you helps!
good luck!

1993 Chrevolet Lumina: Car starts fine from a cold start. Once I start to drive there's hestiation in the engine. The car doesn't stall, it just feels very rough; almost like something is clogged or...

First thing to do is chg. fuel filter, Now if that has been done and there is no improvement, than do a fuel pressure test, to chk. if fuel pump is putting out the right p.s.i. a few pounds under could indicate pump is getting weak or getting ready to go out, auto parts store can tell you the correct p.s.i. if all that chks. out ok, then you can elimanate it being fuel problem. And its cheep. It could be electrical but it sounds more like a fuel delivery problem to me.

Engine shutters and hesitates on my 2004 4.2l ford freestar

Check exhaust compression. Remove O2 sensor before the cataylatic converter and see if the hestiation stops. If it improves then the cats are cloged.
