I've got a 1987 Ford F250 pickup is the small triangular window on the door called a "vent window" or a "quarter window"?

I believe, if it opens, it's a vent window, if it's a "fixed" window, it's a front door quarter window.

Trying to get the passenger side window motor out of my Ford F250 pickup

Good Evening, I remember looking at that the first time I did those window motors, and thought how the heck with them at the bottom end of the door. Soon you start to notice a couple (3) dimples in the bottom end of the door with the panels off. Those dimples are pilots for a 3/8 drill bit, once you drill those there are 3 8mm bolts that hold the motor in. Once you remove those then you can pull the motor out. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

I own a 2000 ford f-250 my driver side window was shattered so i took it into a mechanic and he replaced the window i havent used the truck much in the last 18 months because of other problems but i just...

Parts stores sell door panel removal tools. Just watch for hidden screws in the door panel. The passenger side motor is replaceable, just involves removing the door panel and removing the power motor. The regulator may need lubricated, I'd do the drivers side after you get the glass out.

Power Door Glass and Regulator Motor REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

This is small so if you email me at bomber6509@yahoo.com I can send it to you as an attachment and it will open bigger....but here is the rest of the info for you.

Regulator
  1. Disconnect the battery ground.
  2. Remove the door trim panel.
  3. Disconnect the window motor wiring harness.
  4. There are 2 dimples in the door panel, opposite the 2 concealed motor retaining bolts. Using a 1⁄2 in. (13mm) drill bit, drill out these dimples to gain access to the motor bolts. Be careful to avoid damage to the wires.
  5. Remove the 3 motor mounting bolts.
  6. Push the motor towards the outside of the door to disengage it from the gears. You'll have to support the window glass once the motor is disengaged.
  7. Remove the motor from the door.
  8. Installation is the reverse of removal. To avoid rusting in the drilled areas, prime and paint the exposed metal, or, cover the holes with waterproof body tape. Torque the motor mounting bolts to 50–85 inch lbs. (6–10 Nm). Make sure that the motor works properly before installing the trim panel.
