1992 camaro 3.1 80000 miles died .upon inspection i found that the coil wire going to the distrubator was rusted and the dis. post came off with the coil wire. replaced with new cover ,rotor and coil...

The pick up coil under the rotor buttton is probably out. Check the voltage on the red wire connected to the coil. If it has 12v then it is the pick up coil. I am pretty sure it is the red wire. It was on my truck, but it is the wire that isnt hooked up to the distributor.
You have to pull the distributor to replace the pick up coil. If comes off of the bottom. I changed everything on mine. Then ended up having to get another distibutor because it was rusted and seized up. wouldn't come apart. Got rebuilt one at autozone for 100 with trade in.

I'm not getting a spark out of any of my spark plugs nor the coil what do I do?

First check that there is voltage coming into the ignition system. If not check the fuse. If there is voltage then the possiblity are bad ignition coil, bad igntion module, or pick up coil. First make sure the ignition system is getting power the next like cause would be a bad ignition coil. the least likely is a bad pick up coil.

How to install a 1992 chevy pickup camshaft sensor 1992 chevy pickup 1500 z71 and where is it located? i have no spark coming from my coil so this is my next task? any other answers?

There isn't a camshaft sensor. The distributor has a control module and a pick up coil inside of it, 1 or both could be bad, it's usually best to replace both. Some parts stores can test them. The is also an Electronic Spark Control Module. I would check the pick up coil and control module.

Try this. Remove the breather, Carefully tip 1/2 a cup of gas in the intake. Replace the breather quickly. Fire it up. My quess is that it will run fine. The fuel pump is the prob! You will need to lower the fuel tank to change the fuel pump.
