I just repaired a 2004 that had cylinder 4 missfire.It had been a long time since he had done a tune up.I changed the spark plugs and it helped for a day or 2 with the same problem you are having.The problem that I found with his truck was a bad ignition coil for that cylinder.I hope this helps you.

Yes sometimes diagnosis takes a while. They are most likely perfomring electrical tests o nthe rear axle coupler to see why its functioning incorrect. If I knoew the codes its storing I could help you

Tone ring. I have had this replaced on the rt and lt front because of the flashing 4x4 light. Leave it go and it gets worse. get it fixed now

I have new starter and sylinoidswitch and put new ign. Switch when truck started 2 times it fails to start now please help ford expid. Triton 2000


Does the vehicle crank and not start or does it not crank at all? If a no crank, do the headlights come on when the switch is turned on?

2006 Ford Expedtion 5.4 3V Triton cracking stalls while it's trying to start like maybe it's backfiring, plus it's caused damage to starter.


It sounds like you have a cylinder full of coolant or fuel from a faulty injector, pull the plugs and crank it over, but use extreme caution as if fuel is the issue there could be a fire.

My 2004 Prius didn't start again this morning. We have changed the battery. Ihave 63,ooo miles on the car. Now what?


I wonder if it is the fuel pump that sounds just like a car I was workint on cranked forever charged cranked more finally started up changed the pump and never had a problem

New Spark Plugs--every 70,000 miles
Clean MAF Sensor
New O2 Sensors--100,000 miles
Fuel Filter-every 3 years

Check TPS Sensor for opens
