System click body & accessories , subsystem click wipers/washers . Click the search button , then the blue link . After viewing the wiring diagram for the wipers , Change systems to electrical distribution , then click junction block . Then the search button an first blue link . Shows the relay position . The wiper switch is a input to the front electronic control module . The relays are also controlled by the electronic control module . Probably has code set in the module . You would need a factory scan tool to check this .

How to fix the cruz control on my 2006 Cadillac srx 3.6L

Using a factory or professional type scan tool to diagnose this . checking of DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes would be the first step , finding info on how the cruise control works , what componets are involved . Do you know what a wiring diagram is , how to read one ? How to do electrical testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ?
free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter your vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine , under subsystem click on speed controls ! Then click the search button ,then click the blue link . Looking at the speed control diagram you will see the IGN 1 relay supply's B+ voltage to the cruise control switch ,which is a input to the ECM - engine computer . From there it is all done internally via the computers . Your best bet mite be to have a qualified repair shop check it out .

I have a 2007 HHR, my temp gauge stops working and the same time the a/c stops blowing cold air...I called myself checking fuses and a relay, can you help?

You mean the blower motor stops blowing air , the A/C compressor is still engaged ? The temp gauge shouldn't have anything to do with the blower motor .But stranger things have happened on these systems when they are controlled by a electronic module (BCM )
Circuit/System Description
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the engine coolant temperature as determined by the engine control module (ECM). The ECM sends the temperature data via high speed GMLAN serial data to the body control module (BCM). The BCM then sends the information via low speed GMLAN to the IPC in order to display the engine temperature.
The BCM applies voltage to the blower motor through the HVAC relay. The resistors and the blower motor are in a series circuit. The following list represents the number of resistors in series with the blower motor per particular speed request:
• Low speed--4 resistors
• Medium 1 speed--3 resistors
• Medium 2 speed--2 resistors
When the operator requests High speed, the HVAC control assembly applies ground directly to the blower motor through the high blower motor control circuit.
Do you know anything about automotive serial data communications ? GMLAN Is general motors version of C.A.N controller area network .

How to Diagnose Controller Area Network CAN

Do you know anything about diagnosing automotive electronics ? Using a digital volt ohm meter ? Using wiring diagrams to pin point locations in a electrical circuit for testing ? Do you know what a factory componet location diagram is ? It takes more then looking at fuse's an relays , to see if current is flowing in a electrical circuit .

I need to check a fan control switch

Did you check for voltage and ground at the blower motor connector? You may be way ahead of me? Different speeds are controlled on blower motor ground circuit. In the diagram, the top wire at blower motor is voltage and the bottom wire is ground. The diagram may not be what you wanted? Brown is voltage, orange is ground at blower motor. Maybe you can hit control and plus on your key pad to enlarge diagram.

I need a 1991 ford explorer fuel system diagram

Go to this site: http://www.bbbind.com/technical.html A huge database of free wiring diagrams.

Click on TSB's and wiring diagrams. Next page, agree to end user license agreement. Next page, click on "Wiring Diagrams", then enter vehicle information in the drop down boxes. Under "system" choose "engine". Under sub-system, choose "fuel controls". Then, click on "search" and you will see 3 results. The last two are engine compartment lay-outs, the first one is the fuel controls wiring diagram. When you click on it, will see all the wiring for fuel controls. When you want to see another system or sub-system, just click on "return to search page".

2000 buick regal. Losing fuel pump voltage

http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Then click the search button , then click blue link .The 7th diagram down shows two fuel pump relays , This I have not seen before ! One is speed cont. relay an the other is just fuel pump relay ? The speed control one has a resistor in the electrical circuit . That is way your droping voltage .
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuit Diagnosis (VIN K)
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuit Diagnosis (VIN 1)

The PCM alters fuel pump speed by energizing the fuel pump speed control relay. Under normal conditions, the fuel pump speed control relay is energized. The applied voltage to the fuel pump is controlled by a resistor assembly. When higher fuel volume is required due to increased engine load, MAP sensor value over 90 kPa the PCM de-energizes the fuel pump speed control relay circuit. The increased voltage to the in-tank fuel pump allows a higher volume of fuel to be delivered to the fuel rail. The PCM also compensates for low system voltage by energizing the fuel pump speed control relay.

Have it check for codes !

How to read an understand electrical wiring diagrams ? Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine , then under subsystem click on speed controls . Click the search button then the blue link . Do you know what a speed control servo is ,an what it looks like ? It's under the hood in the engine compartment . In the second diagram you'll see it an it's wiring connections . Check power and grounds for the servo. an switch input's . In the first diagram you see the switch ,inside the switch you can see different resistors ,You can test these input's to the speed control servo with a voltmeter . Check out some videos on youtube on electrical testing speed control systems an test the system .

Cruise control On my 1999 Suburban keeps cutting out, I hear a relay click off and the vehicle looses the criusing speed de-activate on its own. Which I would live with BUT NOW! I hear the same or similar...

Have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ? Does the battery goes dead with the vehicle sitting overnight ? Where do you hear the clicking noise coming from ? Under the insturment panel ?
Test the electrical circuits for those systems using voltage drop . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits using a DMM - digital multi meter and a wiring diagram so you know where to test at . Find out what this systems have in commond , a B+ voltage supply or do they share a common ground point ! Looking at a wiring diagram i see the cruise control and 4X4 transfer case shift control module share a common ground G- 103 & G-104 . Plus the 2 or 4 wheel drive light is controlled by the transfer case shift control module G103 (Gas)
On the right front side of the engine, near the thermostat housing

G104 (5.0L/5.7L)
Backside of the right cylinder head

It is more then likely a loose connection ( ground ) maybe ! But without testing this would be just a guess !

Then under system click on the one's your having problems with . Start with testing B+ at the battery engine off ,then running ! 12.6 V engine off is a fully charged battery , 13.1 to 14 .1 + is good charging voltage . Watch the videos an test the circuits . Good luck ! You would like to know what the problem is for sure not guesses .
