My coolant is below minimum and I am driving 5 hours tonight. My father bought a 50/50 anitfreeze that says its compatible to my car. Do we add water, the coolant, or what? Thanks, Courtney

just the antifreeze will do ,do not dilute it ,if your really stuck then just use water but only as a stopgate ,fill the header tank to the top it will find its own level

How do you change a freeze plug in chevy 1500 with a 350 5.7L

what are you calling a freeze plug???do you mean core plug ,the metal plug in the side of the cylinder block /head.queens english please before we send the gunboats.these metal plugs are used to block the holes which have been left to remove the casting sand.Well these only tap in no problen their ,its just that sometimes you have to remove a lot to get at them.Always remove the old one first and take it to parts shop as sizes can vary depending on the manufacturer. What might be specified is not always the case in pratice.production running slow ,quality control is overidden and a larger one fitted.Always remember to refill with 50% antifreeze and thats about of british with getting to it in though.I changed some on a fiat tempra this week what a lousy job ,had to remove the manifolds and water pipe talk about a knuckle banging job
