Have a 1990 chevy square body with two spots on the fuse block that are melted both are were the fuse goes in to the ecm spot should I try to just put in another fuse block or buy a new wiring harnes

You need to figure out what caused the melting. A short perhaps? Fix the electrical issue, then replace the melted parts. Melting parts should be a warning that too much current was flowing through said part, or there was high resistance (at a mechanical connection) due to corrosion or poor electrical connections. You were lucky a fire didn't start. Your ECM may be fried, sorry to say. Lastly, always use the correct rating fuse.

Hey guys .i have a 1990 chevy c2500. a while back it started running kinda rough when at low rpms... then it began blowing the ecm fuse after running for about 10 minutes, and the check engine light would...

First check and see if you have spark at the sparkplug if you do then you need to check your fuel pressure. It sounds like to me that your fuel pump has went out to lunch. When you turn your ignition on try and listen for the fuel you should here it for the first 2 seconds you turn the switch on.

the reason the injectors stopped is because the motor is not running.this is a safety precaution built into the computer so the engine won`t flood.if the fuel pump is not working then you will have to check powers and grounds at the fuel pump connector by the gas tank to see if the unit is getting fed power and ground.someone will have to try to start the car while you check this out as there is a 2 second prime circuit if the car is not turning over.also this system uses the distributor to know that the engine is turning over to start.you may have a bad pickup coil in the distributor.this system also grounds the injectors through the ecm so you should have power to the injectors when the ignition is turned on,for your information.

Car will not start

No spark issue can be from a number of causes. Most likely the crankshaft position sensor. It is sensitive to minor damages. check position of the teeth. If bent carefully straighten. Also can be the ECM (main computer) On cars with no fuel pressure check oil sending unit because a faulty one that tells no oil pressure will make computer cut out fuel pump operation.
