My 2000 Nissan xterra started bucking, so I replaced the distributor, cap, wires and plugs, now it only bucks after 55mph.

if its the whole car doing it not just the motor check the tires. if tires are out of balance or warped then typical they will buck or jump from 50-60 maybe 65 mph

.Engine stalls, won't idle, bucks at 3700rpm

Sounds like mass airflow sensor to me or your timing jumped. Probably high miles too, eh? Could possibly be voltage regulator but I highly doubt it.

Usually "bucking" is caused by ignition. Timing or faulty spark plug wires. They will ildle fine, but when you start driving , the miss firing starts.
First, try aiming a timing light at the crank and see if the marks are jumping around, or staying in one spot. If they are jumping, the timing belt, or chain, depending on what we're dealing with, has jumped a cog.
If not, then try changing the wires.
As for the up and down idling, i would think you still have a vacuum leak. Try dumping some soapy water along the intake gasket while it's running, and see if it bubbles.

Won't start or jump

I just had this problem last week. The starter is definitely shot. Don't take it in to Nissan though. They will charge you at least 500 bucks for the starter and probably another 300-500 for labor.
Just call a couple shops and get a quote. I got mine replaced for 400 bucks and thats part and labor.

Lost all electric power in car. Drove it 15 miles parked and 1 hour later nothing. The remote door unlock did not work and the dome light did not come on after manually opening. Tried to jump no luck. any...

This happened to me two weeks ago, i tried to jump it and nothing, sor I repalced the battery. A few days later I got a flat, and told the service guy at the shop what happened. He checked the voltage on the "jump points" and told me the jump points weren't connected to the battery. I found out that if you need to jump this vehicle, remove the fuse block,a nd put the jumper cables directly on the battery. I spent 100 bucks on a new battery for nothing!!!

Lesson Learned: Chevy "Jump Points" make me want to jump off a bridge!

Jumping and bucking RPM'S FALL OUT.

Start with checking all of your vacuum lines. If that isn't the problem it might be in the computer.

Bucking feeling

have you tried changing your plugs and try cleaning your air filter because the jumping feeling sounds like it may be missfiring and this is what could cause this most of the time.
