Sounds like the seal in the turbo has went out!

Check compression. Generally a diesel is much higher compression than gasoline and the only way to get fuel in exhaust is to have bad compression, could be valve, could be rings, sleeve etc.

Describing a turbo as gone bad doesn't adequately describe what happened to it and why. A turbo is a very strong and reliable bit of equipment that will give long service as long as it isn't abused. Assuming you didn't abuse it there will be a reason why it failed and it is important to discover the reason and if possible rectify the fault before or during the turbo replacement.

When replacing a turbo it is best practice to change the engine oil and filter and verify there is a good supply to the turbo and the drain back into the oil pan is clear. The intake must be checked and thoroughly cleaned of any and all foreign objects along with all the high and low pressure trunking and the intercooler. If the old turbo broke up it is important all the bits are found - because if part of the compressor is missing it could have been ingested by the engine or is perhaps lodged in the manifold or a port waiting to cause further expensive damage and inconvenience...

If the turbo went bad because of bearing and seal failure there could be quite a lot of oil in the exhaust system. If there is, it can take quite a long time for it to disappear. If you analysed the reason for the turbo failure correctly and fitted the replacement using best practice and the engine is running ok, you can be confident the smoke and oil drops will eventually clear. You should of course confine your driving to quiet country roads until it does.

Please help, I have a 93 white/GMC with a Detroit 60. The turbo had chatter noise out of exhaust. Impellers were hitting housing. New turbo/oil, same problem, oil coming out of exhaust. Still chattern

This could be oil that built up in the exhaust system when you still had the damaged worn out turbo on the engine. Turbo fins rubbing on the housing do not make a chatter noise, as the turbo is spinning at 20,000 RPM. the chatter could be a lose baffle in the exhaust system. Have you run it long enough to burn out the oil leaked by the previous turbo

There is white smoke coming out of the back of my 2005 aui a4 2.0 tdi

It's very simply to find out if the turbocharger is causing white smoke from the exhaust vs a blown head gasket. So, remove the turbocharger's compressor inlet centre hose (from the aluminium side of the turbo). Then see if there's in plenty of oil coming out from the hose and from the turbo. I'm 100% convinced that the turbocharger is damaged in your case. You can remove also the exhaust pipe out from the turbocharger, and see if there's a lot of oil coming out.
Repair or replace bad turbocharger with a new one (or with a second hand in good condition one).

05 pt cruiser turbo.oil is getting into intake manifold.smoke is coming out of exhaust.installed new turbo.still doing the same thing

It is getting into your exhaust manifold-the return line is either restricted or blocked, or the oil seal inside the turbo housing is either leaking or blown, usually due to excessive crankcase pressure.Try disconnecting the oil feed and return lines first, clean them out, and try it again-if it is still there, the turbo will have to come out and it will have to be gone over for blown seals.

take the inter cooler pipe of turbo and try to move the fan or bolt inside the turbo, if you can then theres a problem with the bearing probably oil starvation parts of the fan will have been sucked through the engine so this could cause the smoke problem if the plastic is stuck in the exhaust valve check all oil lines and air lines, try getting some one to hold rag over exhaust pipe and look in engine bay if you can see smoke/exhaust gases coming from turbo unit then theres a leak somewhere,
its a complicated problem and without being there i cant really help anymore than that, sorry jezza

Oil coming out of exhaust and whistling turbo

it sounds like your turbo has packed in firstly the oil seal in your turbo has failed thats why ur seeing oil from exhaust & the whistling from turbo is the vanes in turbo breaking up so i would advise not to use car until new turbo is fitted & inter cooler pipes and inter cooler itself are checked & cleaned for swarf from turbo you can check turbo by disconnecting turbo pipe &inspecting turbo vanes (fins) to see if broken up or any damage to chamber.
