How to replace Honda front Crankshaft Seal

Have to take off the crankshaft pulley to get at the Crankshaft Seal.

Use a hooked seal remover to dig in and pull the seal out without damaging sealing surfaces.

I am having trouble removing the crankshaft pulley are there any hints.

1. Remove the Center Bolt and Washer.
2. Use a correct size Puller - available at most auto parts stores (some even rent them "for free" (with deposit); also available in sets at Harbor Freight.
3. DO NOT USE the outside Crankshaft Pulley lip- the Puller will snap the edge off!
4. Use a smaller sized Bolt inserted where the Crankshaft Bolt was, and use a set of washers small enough to fit on the bolt, but small enough to allow the Crankshaft Pulley to be "pulled" off the Crankshaft. The Puller Pivot Leg will be place againsgt this bolt.

Creeping crankshaft pulley

Common problem on Honda engine. Get it fixed before the crank throws the pulley completely. Helicoil is the cheapest fix. This happens from 1986 to 199? model years on regular basis

Crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) removal- disconnect neg battery cable, remove belts, it would be a good idea to soak the bolt w/ penetrating oil overnight, there is a special 'crankshaft pulley holding tool' available to secure the pulley while removing and installing the bolt. Some parts stores loan tools for free if u purchase parts from them, I don't know if this is available, but it would be worth checking out. Attach holding tool and remove bolt securing pulley. Carefully remove pulley from crankshaft, Do NOT pry off. Remove key from crankshaft sprocket,
Install: install key on crankshaft sprocket, slide pulley on, apply clean oil to bolt threads but NOT to washer contact surfaces, secure crankshaft w/ holding tool, tighten to 159 ft lbs (91-93 Accord), install belts, re-attach neg cable.
