SOURCE: My keyless entry doesn't work,
Hold both buttons the Open and the Lock on your remote key for about 60 seconds, it should turn the lights inside the car and the problem should be fixed.
It worked on my Honda Accord 2004

SOURCE: keyless entry on honda civic 2006 not working
The keyless entry is designed to work with the doors closed (closed - not locked). If the door ajar sensor thinks the door is open the keyless entry is disabled. When you manually lock the door it might tighten the door just enough to activate the keyless entry. I would try slamming all the doors closed and then see if the keyless entry works. If it still wont work have the wiring checked on the front door lock.

SOURCE: Pontiac G6 unlock button on
I don't remember the right way to do it but the remote can be reset by clicking 1 , 2 or 3 times and holding in for 10 or more seconds. Call a GM service at your local GM dealer and they should be able to walk you through it.

SOURCE: my key will not unlock my door to 07 impala and
if you have a slim jim (flat meatal with a hook) you are not getting in. the remote wont work because the battery is dead and the key doesnt work because you never use it (am i right?). Well this is what you can do short of calling a lock smith oir triple A. take WD-40 and spray it in the lock hole put the key in the door and work back and foward untilll it opens this could take a long time about 15 patient minutes (**TIP** put a pair of vise grips on the key this will give you a handle to use because your fingers will get tired quick.)
