Check the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side 1st. If You don't find the fuse there then look for a second fuse box on the passenger side dash (where the passenger door closes against) finally there will be a 3rd fuse block under the hood you can check as a last resort. Should be labeled "radio"

Hello, i have a xsara picasso 2005. i fitted a aftermarket radio, one of the wires was live and touched radio case. radio works fine but on my dashboard everthing works apart from mpg computer HELP.

check your fuse. the dash computer works of a permit live, and also is the memory live for the original radio. i would think it would be a 10amp fuse. in one of the fuse boxes.

My radio got water inside. at this time is not turn on at all. What is the problem

Depending on amount of water which got into your radio it will either be one of two problems, One its got a little wet and if taken apart may dry out enough to use again however if enough water to make it short out it may have just shorted the fuse in the fuse box under the hood, If that fuse is ok and your radio has an internal fuse too i would also check that.

1995 cadillac deville stock radio not working

Before you remove the dash, double check the fuse(s). There are TWO fuses to power the radio. One is "switched on" when you turn the key on, the other is "constant on" to run the clock and the radio presets when the car is turned off. The constant on circuit is usually the Cigar Lighter fuse. Check the owner's manual or a trip to the library to look at their repair manuals for fuse box locations.

You have to remove the radio and check the power going into the radio to make sure it is getting power. There is an internal radio fuse which you can't check without taking the radio apart. Likely the source is the radio. Checking for current to the radio will determine if the source is the radio or not. If radio does not power up, antenna will not rise.

Where are the fuses for the speakers - VW Golf 1994

there will not be any fuses for the speakers themselves, you may have fried the internal components which drive the speakers. if the two fuses you mentioned are okay, you most likely will need a new stereo. does the radio even turn on at all?

Broken Radio

Jonzo. if u can't find a fuse labeled radio in the fuse block, check the power wire that connects to the radio itself, it usually has a fuse built into the line. I'm not sure about the saturn, but the fuse may be the old cylinder shape fuse, it may be inside a small cylinder shaped plastic case w/ a wire going in one end (power in) and out the other (to the radio). If it's this type of fuse, u have to push both ends in and twist, and it will come apart, allowing u to remove the fuse and check it. If u tried a radio u know works, hopefully it's just this fuse in the power wire. countrytcurt0
