SOURCE: The question is: Convert 0.280 to the nearest 1/32

Divide 1.0 by 32. This tells you each 32th = 0.03125. Now divide 0.280 by 0.03125 and you get 8.96. So 0.280 equals almost 9/32ths. You can then check your math with an online "conversion table". Hope that helps.

Hi. Where is it upstream oxygen sensor blank 1 sensor 1 oldsmobile intrigue 99 3.5

Bank 1 is where the number 1 cylinder is. This is nearest the radiator on a GM. The sensor should be on the exhaust manifold or just after in the exhaust. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (nearest the engine, and for keeping the fuel/air mixture right), sensor 2 is called the downstream sensor and is always after the catalytic converter. You may have two sensor 1's,one for each engine bank, and then two sensor 2's-if you have dual exhaust.

I need the location for a bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor in a 19999 ford taurus

Bank 1 is the side nearest to the firewall and sensor 1 is pre-catalytic converter. It should be located on the exhaust pipe after the exhaust manifold and before the catalytic converter. Follow the exhaust pipe.

Bank 2 sensor 2

Do you know which cylinder on the engine is number 1? Bank 1 is always the side where the number 1 cylinder is located. Bank 2 would be the opposite side. Sensor 1 is always the oxygen sensor nearest to the engine. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

Where is bank 1 sensor 2 located in a 1996 mitsubishi galant s?

Locate the number 1 spark plug and then locate the O2 sensor in the exhaust. The one you see nearest the cylinder head is number 1. Look underneath the vehicle and locate the catalytic converter and the number 2 sensor is just before the "cat" and the one after is the Bank 2 sensor 2. I believe that the number one cylinder is closest to the radiator and the front of the engine. If this is a 4 cylinder car it is the sensor in the exhaust just prior to the catalytic converter. You will need a 7/8" or 22mm wrench and a good rust penetrant to remove the sensor without incident. Let me know if you need anything else.

Where is bank1 senor1 o senor located?

it is in front of the catalytic converter-follow the exhaust out off the engine block, it will be between the exhaust header and the cat. If you have a V6 (you didn't say), it is on the same side of the engine as the #1 cylinder. #1 cylinder is always the closest front cylinder to the front of the engine on any car.

Where is bank 1 sensor 1 on mitsubishi endeavor 04' four cylinder??

There are only V6 endeavors in the US, are you certain you do not have a 3.8L V6?

Bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that contains cylinder number 1. This is the side of the engine nearest the firewall.
Sensor 1 refers to the first sensor off the manifold, or closest to the engine.
This also is the O2 sensor that is located before the catalytic converter in the manifold. Sensor 2 is located after the catalytic converter, further down below the car.

Troublecode P0141

I replaced mine and come to find out my Catalytic converter was bad. If you have under 60,000mi. take it to your dealer Emission products are covered. Bank 1 sensor two is the one nearest the rear of truck under cab. The o2 sensors are the same. After 60 miles the check engine light will go off on its own... Or you can unplug the battery over night and it will turn back on after 60mi. if problem persist. And yes this can cause power loss

....Hope this helps

1998 Avalon Oxegen Sensor

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the sensor next to the head and in front of the cat converter for the head nearest the firewall. Not after the cat.
