Ford ues one , inertia fuel shut off switch > It's it case the vehicle is in a accident > It kills B+ voltage to the fuel pump > GM vehicles don't need one , it's the way the fuel pump is powered . The PCM/ECM - engine computer supplys B+ voltage to energize the fuel pump relay .
