Don't you mean TORQUE? What do you need torque, the head bolts? If so, don't you think a vehicle year would be important to mention?

1990 ford escort zx2 torque for the engine head bots

Not sure what engine you have but it's the same for the 1.8L and 1.9L. Hope this helps.. Cobra!!
Installation
CAUTION: Before installing the cylinder head, check the piston squish height as outlined.
  1. Clean all gasket material from the mating surfaces on the cylinder head and block. Clean out the bolt holes in the block.
  1. Install the dowels. Check the dowel height (11.75/10.40). When using replacement parts, a long dowel may be encountered. A long dowel will not allow the cylinder head to sit properly and should not be used.
  1. Position the cylinder head gasket on the cylinder block.
  1. Apply a light coating of engine oil to the threads of the new cylinder head bolts. Install the new cylinder head bolts to the cylinder head. Following the sequence shown, tighten the attaching bolts to 40-60 Nm (29-44 lb-ft). Loosen all attaching bolts approximately two turns, then retighten the attaching bolts to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) following the sequence shown. After tightening, turn all bolts 90 degrees, in the same sequence. Complete bolt tightening by turning them an additional 90 degrees, in the same sequence.

Could you help me with the ford escort 1600 zetec (1995) twin cam cylinder head torque settings please regards tom

Tightening sequence is (imagining the bolts looking down from the front of the car, top left to right being bolts 1,2,3,4,5 and bottom left to right being bolt 6,7,8,9,10 the tightening order is 8,3,9,2,7,4,6,5,10,1 Draw it out on paper to make it become clear. (it will I promise)
The tightening is done in stages, Stage one being to screw all the bolts in finger tight. Stage two is tightening the bolts in sequence to 20-30nm Stage three is tightening the bolts in sequence up to 40-50nm Stage four is tightening the bolts in sequence by 90-120 degrees. ---- Data checked and double checked, thats the official way to do it.
