If you connect 12Volts directly on the motor, it will either work, meaning you probably have a blown fuse or it will be dead so will need new brushes or replacing.

Might be but if you go straight to the motor and work backwards you will soon find the fault.

do you have 12vdc to the motor?
id bet not, so work backwards from there./
the FSM covers all this, get one
or login to an read the wiper schematic.
fues that look good can be bad, again, that DMM voltmeter switched
to low ohms NEVER lies when you test a fuse
it reads 0 ohms good, zero ohms. if infinity its bad. (hair line cracks in fuse)

Wipers not working..2003 Lesabre

Due to your first sentence, your problem sounds like it is in the actual switch. If it were a bad motor you would have experienced it stopping in the "on" position.

Front windshild wiper is not working but back ones are. what is my problem?

The fuse could be blown, or the motor could be bad, or the switch may be bad, or the wiring in between.

I have a 1987 cadillac eldorado. The windshield wiper module went out yet again. The past itself is discontinued. I am not extremely car savy, and since the part is no longer being made, would like to know...

just a thought, try contacting auto recycling center(scrap yard) quite often you can find someone who can rig up something for ya, i know from experience with having to deal with unavailble parts in my years

Wipers do not work. i replaced the wiper switch and checked the fuses ,The red wire to the wiper moter has power ,how do I know if the wiper moter is defective?

there are usually two hot wires going to the wiper motor .. also a ground strap that may be bad ... one of the hot wires is always on if the key is on ... that for homing the wiper blades when you turn them off .. the other power input is from the wiper control circuit .. its only on if the wiper switch is turned on .. if you have power on the homing input then that wont do anything unless the wipers are not in home position .. if you have power to the "run" wire of the motor and the ground is good then the motor should run unless its defective .. you can put a jumper cable from the ground of the wiper motor to the engine block or battery neg, to check if the ground wire is causing the trouble .. that happens frequently in some models but not sure about your E250 ...

My Kia 2003 rio front windscreen water not working

Take off the pipe at the pump then use the washer switch and see if the water sprays out. To check if the pump is working you will need someone to use the switch while you hold your hand on the pump you should feel or hear the pump working. If the pump is going but no water spraying blow back through it and try again. If it dosent work then you will probably need a pump.

Screen washers(front and rear) not working

Quick test since you can hear pumps running: Open hood. Look for a rubber hose going up from engine compartment to underside of hood. This should split somewhere if there are two washer jets on your hood, or else they go to your wipers and squirt directly off them, right? There will be a spot close to where this hose leaves the eng. comp. and joins with the hood that uses a splice connector. You can disconnect the hose here with some wiggling, and hit the squirters again to see if water is at least coming out of this primary hose. Yes? Good then the clog is at the jet end, or squirter end. Use a tiny piece of wire, like a bread tie without the insulation, and poke into the hole of the jet and try to clear out the dirt, or mineral deposit, dried soap scum, whatever. Now squirt again. Should start to clear out, or use compressed air and blow through jet. If your clog is not at the squirting end, follow the hose down to the little pump at the side/bottom of your juice bottle. GOod luck, and don't use too much additive, it clogs easier. Also don't use tap water if you get a lot of scale from hard water. THis will clog, too. Good Luck, TT

380 ES Mitsubishi 2006 model door window control

It possably isnt the switch it maybe the motor itself if you open the door panel and disconect the moter run 2 wires to the main battery becarefull because when you do this the motor may or may not work if the window goes up or down when you do this then your moter is good if not replace motor otherwise switch your wires from one switch to anouther that you know is good and try to see if it works then your switch may be bad.. do to the drivers window being used the most the switch or motor will go bad sooner then the others
