I've had a vibration problem while braking since last year on 2003 Impala 116000 miles. Replaced front rotors and ceramic pads in 08. Helped for a little while. This year I had the front rotors turned. Was OK for a few weeks. I have also rotated tires to see if it was a tire problem. Still there. Also, I do feel a clunk on the steering wheel when turning our of my driveway.

If this vibration is occurring only when you brake, I would take a look at a sticking caliper piston that is causing brake drag. Hope this helps and best wishes.
