Could be avacuum hose and if so will connect to the inlet manifold down to a actuator that helps in changing gear ratios

Diagram for reconnecting vacuum lines on 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Nancy, There should be a vacuum hose diagram under the hood of your Sante Fe, either on the underside of hood or on the radiator support. Contact the dealer and they can print it off for you also.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

2002 Auto Hyundai Accent stuck in second gear will not go up

having the transmission rebuilt in 2010 means that the tranny is 7 years old since service so there can be any amount of faults
run the fault codes to check for problem TCM, VSS, servos and solenoids
check the vacuum actuator for the transmission and vacuum lines
change the transmission oil
the engine light also reports on transmission failures

Drain plug location for transmission on 2008 hyundai accent

If this is an automatic, there is no drainplug. You have to drop the entire tranny pan, but if you\'re careful when taking the bolts loose; you can drain the pan pretty easy.

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima that I found one end of a vacuum line disconnected from somewhere. I can't find where it is supposed to be connected to! I looked all over with a flashlight and can't find...

If this is out ot the top of the tranny,it is a vent line ,for fluid expansion or when you add fluid ,as long as it is not plugged up ,it's fine

ONE OF MY VACUUM HOSE FROM MY TRANSFUR CASE CAME OFF. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THEY GO SO I CAN PUT IT BACK ON. 4 WHEEL DRIVE IS PUSH BUTTON.

There is a vacuum switch on top of the transfer case on the drivers side, the switch has three vacuum line. One from the engine, the second to the 4X4 vacuum actuator under the battery box and the third is the vacuum relieve line which comes up to the firewall by the distributor. The switch is around $15.00 at Auto Zone or Napa and can be replaced with a 1 inch open end wrench and take less then 15 min to replace, it's common for the switch to go bad and i keep one on my glove box just in case mine fails again. If you think the switch is still good, just un-clip the three vacuum line connector from the switch and reconnect the vacuum line that has come off and then reattach the vacuum line connector to the switch. Good luck and hope this helps.

2008 hyundai indicator light

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT. YOUR TIRES LOOSE AIR PRESSURE WHEN THE WEATHER GOES FROM HOT TO COLD. TRY ADDING SOME AIR TO THE TIRES. THE LIGHT SHOULD GO OUT. ALSO, LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL, IT SHOULD GIVE AN EXPLANATION OF WARNING LIGHTS.
