SOURCE: need instuctions to change tail/break lights on 07 dodge caliber

popohead, if people thought it was easy, they wouldn't be here asking. Your reply is useless.

To remove the pins, look a them closely. Notice that there's two little notches cut into the cup that holds the pin. Use a flathead on each side to leveredge them out a little. If that doesn't work at all, you can use a pair of pliers to firmly grip the head of the pin and pull straight out. Quick firm pull.

Once the first pin comes out, the second pin should easily come out. At that point, firmly grip your taillight housing, and pull straight back: Don't try to wiggle it out, and don't try to lift it to one side or the other like a trunk or door. Just pull it firmly straight back like you would a dresser drawer.

Once it's out, the little wiring harnesses come out of the taillight housing with about a 1/4 turn, and the bulbs just slide straight out of those.

Good luck!

SOURCE: how do i install a alternator for a 07 dodge

you will need to disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery, remove right front wheel, remove underbody air dam, remove accessory drive splash shield, remove the accessory drive idler pulley. Next loosen the lower mounting bolt, then loosen the a/c compressor and relocate(pull down and to the outboard side of the vehicle to make room for the alternator the come out) next uplug field circuit from alternator and the B+ terminal nut and wire. remove upper mounting bolt on the alternator and lower mounting bolt. relocate the terminal to the other side of the a/c line. Rotate alternator pulley down and slide down and out of vehicle. Yes, its a pain in the ****.

SOURCE: volvo xc90 2004 buzzing in steering wheel, clunck noise under car

that sounds like you are low on power steering fluid ... when the level gets low then the pump starts to ingest air and that produces a buzzing sound when you turn the wheel .....i would add or change the fluid and check for leaks and mechanical loosness in the under car linkages ...you can have that checked at your next oil change .

I need to know what fault codes you have in the memory of the powertrain control module. Also which engine you have. If you have not run a fault code test rent a code reader and do the testing, the diagnostic link connector is under the dash on the drivers side.

Take it to autozone or checker auto, orielly, precision etc. They can scan it for error codes for free. Then you can get a better idea of what is wrong.

Sound like your fuel pump quit working. That is what makes the buzzing sound from the back. Sometime if you have someone that can help you you can bang on the gas tank while turning it over to get it started to get it home.

Car doesn't start radio and lights work. sensor light indicates low tire pressure no crank no start

Daughters 07, doing same currently, just since cooler weather has arrived here. From what i can find out, apparently others have experienced same and one of the reasons for it is that the module that senses for proper key to lock out in case of theft, when put in the ignition, is pretty sensitive to static electricity. Apparently Dodge has a new, less sensitive module that can be installed. I've instructed my daughter to touch outside metal above door while trying to start, as well as carry fabric sheet with her, but be careful of slippery hands from it on steering wheel, until we can get it in to dealer. There is also a fuse(s) under hood in upper right fuse panel that is labeled, IOD in manual, that have a white plastic cover on them. If removed for 30 seconds or so, it's supposed to re-set module, and should allow starting. Sounds pretty weird I know but, It did it more last winter, then not at all this summer, and now cooler weather has arrived and it has started again. Drier air, more clothing, more static, so I'm going to have her dealer investigate further. Let me know if any of this works for you.
